I love the paved walking trails. They have sturdy iron benches at intervals for those of us with asthma or arthritis to rest for a few minutes before finishing the loop. There’s a short 5 minute loop and a longer 15 minute loop. There might even be a third loop we’ve never taken that’s an even longer interval. If you’re out of shape, disabled, or just older and can’t do long walks, this is a safe place to come and get in some steps while enjoying the beautiful sky and birds in a woodland/meadow setting. The path also seems wheelchair accessible for those who use assistive aids for mobility. It’s even pet friendly and well-behaved friendly dogs on leashes are frequently seen with their owners; it’s nice to have a reason to smile and say “hi”. Plenty of free parking. Public restroom shelter....

This park also hosts a gazebo, flower beds, a really nice children's play area with swings, slides, and climbing obstacles.
