The Hookah Connection — Local services in Perkins Township

Ive been coming here for years. This time before I came in I wanted to price 2 items. I called and spoke with a worker named tanner. tanner seemed out of it. It seem like he didnt care about customer service and didn't care about making a sales. I called Kali-Daze, another head shop close by, and they were professional and answered all questions. Kali-Daze had better prices, but I'd been going to hookah connection for years. I called to see if they would match the price at Kali-Daze and tanner basically said I was lying about the price; on top of acting like he didn't care about the sell. I looked pass that, I said like the owner so u don't have to match just bring it down a few dollars and I'll pay more with u guys. Tanner said he didn't know what to tell me and said I just want to save money. RUDE. I went to Kali-Daze, was treated professional and bought my item. I stopped by hookah connection to inform the owner. I walked in as the owner was walking out. I didn't recognize him cause he had been working out and lost weight. So I went and show tanner my Kali-Daze receipt to confirm what I told him and to ask for the owner. I asked if the owner just walked out and tanner LIED and told me no. It was the owner. I went to the owner not to get tanner fired but to let the owner know that if tanner is treating his customer like that then tanner will lose him business and the fact that I was will to pay more because of loyalty. While I'm speaking with the owner, Tanner unprofessionalism got the best of him, he left the store to interrupt me turn after turn. The rudeness continue until I check him. Then he was sensitive. Instead of correcting the employee the owner told me to going to Kali-Daze. It's like 4mins away. I shook his hand and said okay. He probably lost about $20 in profit from me alone, today, and a loyal customer who was willing to pay more instead of correcting his "friend's" shortcomings. If they were really friends wouldn't Tanner care more about his friends' business? The owner is obviously a good friend because he's willing to lose business instead of training his supposed...
