My uncle passed away September 12, 2024. The nursing home recommended this funeral home. In the beginning with all the planning, everything was great. We sat with Greg. He answered all our questions although at one point I thought he was too chatty for my liking, but we went with it. We were trying to make light of it. My uncle had a good run. When it was time for the mass at the church is where everything started to decline. The funeral was extremely small. We had no family left. The obituary was printed in a local newspaper with the incorrect date of my uncle's passing so that didn't help. The church mass was beautiful, the priest was excellent, personable and the organist was fantastic with the singing. We were so moved by the church's part. When we arrived at the church, we had brought flowers from the florist and put them on the altar. Mass was beautiful. When the mass was completed, the woman from the funeral home came up to the family and she said don't worry, I'll bring the flowers and your uncle's ashes in the urn to the graveyard for you. She said follow me in my Jeep. We asked if she was going to turn on her emergency flashes on the way to the graveyard and she said no. We get in our cars and we are following her to the cemetery and she has her flashers on when she told us she wasn't going to do that.We get to the cemetery and the military was there and we were very happy. We get out of the car. We go over to the grave to do a prayer with the priest and the woman that works for the funeral home didn't bring the flowers from the church that the family purchased. She said I thought you were keeping them at the church, that's usually what people do. That's not what we said in the conversation we had with her at the church. We stood there at the grave with no flowers. We were so disappointed. We had no flowers to put on the grave which has always been a tradition in my family. They were sitting at the church. Very, very disappointed the ball was dropped, lack of communication, don't know what happened. But the family distinctly remembers telling her we wanted to bring the flowers to the graveyard and we trusted her to follow our wishes. She told us not to worry about everything she would take care of it and she dropped the ball. You get one shot at it and the ball was dropped. But you just move on, can you try to keep it as nice as possible, which we did. Overall, I gave it 2 stars. What I didn't like the most was every time I called the funeral home and went to ask a question, the girls in the office would interrupt and talk a mile a minute like they could not be bothered. Most of my questions were answered, but I just felt I was very rushed during this difficult time. The family felt we were not treated sensitively to the manner which we weren't...

Read moreMy family has unfortunately had to deal with the untimely passing of a few family members over the years. Thankfully, we went to the right place for their services and have continued to return to this business time and time again.
Joseph "Joey" Diaz has provided my family and I with exceptional service each time and we continue to come back. Both he and his staff have made what had been a very difficult time for my family, much easier to bear with their professionalism and compassion. They are the only funeral home I would entrust my family to and with them, you become like family.
My experiences have been nothing but positive and I have visited numerous times for other services for non family. Each time, the services are beautiful and well put together. The location itself is beautiful and accommodate large families which came as a big help for my family. The prices are reasonable and Joey is there to help you every step of the way.
I highly recommend...
