Disappointing First Visit

My first visit to this barber shop was less than satisfactory. Despite my efforts to communicate my preferences, the language barrier hindered effective communication as the barber spoke only Spanish. I attempted to convey my desired haircut through photos, with the assistance of another patron, but unfortunately, the barber seemed preoccupied with his phone, texting throughout the session. As a result, the haircut and beard trim were not executed properly, and the lack of attention to detail was evident. Moreover, the overall experience lacked the expected professionalism, as the barber was not particularly gentle during the service. While observing other barbers and a lady attending to their clients, it became apparent that there were capable individuals within the establishment. However, my personal experience fell short of expectations, leaving me dissatisfied with the service received.

Called and came to this place at 9pm after a long day at work it’s now 10:30pm. They said the wait was 20 mins. I asked if the owner was available he said he’s done for the night. I said it’s cool I’ll wait… now, I’ve been sitting here for over 1 hour and other walk ins are being taken before addressing me? When I asked Juan (chair 2) he said I have other people to cut and took the walk ins before me…. So did the other barber… They clearly did not have an appointment. So RUDE He was supposed to cut my hair next but he took 4 others in the meantime and when I asked him what’s going on he smirked and said this is my last cut for the night sorry? Why didn’t anyone say anything or ask who’s next… the other barber is cutting more walk ins too and even he thought this guys supposed to cut my hair too. UNPROFESSIONAL! WASTE OF TIME! Wow this place should be an example for other businesses in Perth Amboy great service , awesome prices , they welcome people with a smile so much love and super professional . Everyone else don’t consider that not everyone can pay high price’s for the same services !! People go there you won’t regret , save money and be treated like family. They even offered water And a snack . Adriana did my hair and it was like an Angel from heaven. I use to go to D Elegance what a ripoff the lady Lydia used to make me wait to do her own hair and nails. Always charged higher prices for the same services.
