Garibaldi Restaurant 1 — Restaurant in Perth Amboy

I don't know why this side of Perth Amboy acts like no one speaks English. Like this restaurant opened well over 20 years ago, and yet everyone inside still refuses to speak English to their customers. Like step it up. Don't even think about paying with a card or apple pay here. They gratuity charge 15%, illegally. You cannot impose fees greater than the sales tax in NJ. IT'S THE LAW. I called to dispute the illegal fee and have it removed. I live way up in North NJ and had breakfast here. Can you believe the cook asked me to drive to Perth Amboy for the $5 in cash???

The manager conveniently left at 2pm when I brought up the illegal gratuity could be removed from the $43 breakfast ticket. Yes. Breakfast was $43. Two breakfast entrees at $24.96 One limonada $3 One OJ $8 add tax and illegal gratuity - $43.73

The worst customer service ever. I just went to this restaurant for the first time and after (20min) of being there I left. Because I love their food so much I decided to call so I can order and pick up. The lady that picked up the phone put me on hold and had me waiting for (45min) they problably forgot that I was on the line. I stayed that whole entire on the line just to see how far this would go. I eventually hung up the phone and called back. I had to tell the owner of the restaurant that I had not received assistants from any of his staff at his restaurant or on the phone. The food is bad, I recommend Plaza garibaldi! The food always taste good over there. This place I gave it a chance today because the Plaza garibaldi one was closed. This is the second time I buy their food and it taste like nothing, and they leave the chunks of skin on their quesabirria which is gross so slimy ugh. And taste like nothing.
