My husband and I had an awful experience on Saturday afternoon with the manager of this theater (Jamie). We were excited to see Sully and purchased 2 tickets, large popcorn and a large soda. We entered the small theater which seated about 30 people and really liked the feeling as it felt intimate. In the first 20 minutes of the film the sound went out 3 times. On all 3 occasions a patron of the theater went out to tell the staff. All 3 times the sound came back on after about 5-8 minutes. After the second time a few people left, after the 3rd time even more people left, and after the 4th time we left. When we went to ask Jamie for our money back he was not accommodating. He said no one else had complained (which is clearly not the case) and gave us our money back with attitude. When we asked for our money back for the popcorn and soda he said "what for the soda you already drank". I opened the top of the soda to show him only an inch was missing from the top and I tried to explain to him that due to the movie not working we would be going directly to dinner and would not be able to enjoy the refreshments. Who wants to pay $20 for popcorn and a soda if you can not enjoy it in the theater? I am very disappointed in the treatment received by Jamie and will not be going back which is a shame. I can not believe someone with such a rude attitude be a...
Read moreWe loved it! Very clean and inviting. We had online reservations for the recliner chairs. They were clean and spacious. For me at 5’ 6” they tray felt a little high but very doable. The cup holder was very easy to find in the dark.
Side note: When we first got there the lines were confusing and after waiting 10+ minutes we found out we were in the Cash Only line on the far right and had to move over one to the left. The signs are near the counter and handwritten in a faded black felt pen that was hard to see.
The menu packages were a little complicated but by the time we got to the front we had mostly figured it out: NO substitutions!
The screen was a little smaller than the General Admission theater would’ve been but I suspect that not many will pay extra for the loungers so it’s in a smaller space. It still felt pretty spacious, though.
We felt safe parking but we were right in front in the handicap spots. There is a garage kitty corner in back so I don’t have info on it other than just passing it on the road. Not sure about lighting but it’s a pretty safe area so you should be just...
Read moreBoulevard Cinemas has easily become my favorite movie theater, and let me tell you why. First off, the popcorn here is unbeatable – seriously, it's the best I've ever had in any theater, and I've tried my fair share from AMC to Regal and Cinemark. It's like they've cracked the code to the perfect popcorn.
But it's not just about the popcorn; the seating is on another level. We're talking super comfy recliners that make it a challenge not to drift off into movie-watching bliss. And the food? So much more than your standard theater fare, with great options across the board. Plus, they've got an excellent selection of beer, ciders, and wine, which is always a win in my book.
The cherry on top? Boulevard Cinemas nails that vintage movie theater vibe while still feeling fresh and modern. It's got this atmosphere that just makes every movie experience special. Honestly, it's the best in Sonoma County for a reason. The vibes, the snacks, the drinks – everything about this place is top-notch. If you're looking for a memorable movie night,...
