Grocery Outlet — Local services in Petaluma

Some of the negative reviews I see here are very old and from before the new owner, Benny took over. This Grocery Outlet is very well-managed and organized now. And well stocked with a welcome variety in every aisle. I know from my own volunteering experience at local food banks that they do give support to the community in various ways. I visit the store at least once a week and find it a great place to shop. I like bargains! Update from April 2024. This store continues to be well managed and some departments have even improved, like the produce department. At a discount store one might expect the produce to not be tiptop. But here in the Petaluma Grocery Outlet it is fresh. Sometimes I find it better than Whole Foods, yes I do shop both stores. Great Store! Good variety! Good Quality! Excellent Prices! Clean and well organized. Some fresh Organic Foods: produce, hummus, cheese, quality eggs! Good paper products! Great wine dept with knowledgeable manager. Senior discount days: second and last Wednesdays, til noon. Very friendly clerks. Store is clean! I love Grocery Outlet but this store in particular I've had some issues with. This week I got food poisoning from some of the meats they had in the back and then I also bought this snack pack only to come home and find it mold infested. It's probably the third time now I brought something home from there after shopping only to discover it was moldy. I like to talk to people directly first before writing reviews but after talking to the manager today I found him very unsympathetic. If you like Grocery Outlet then keep going, but you're probably better off too...
