I have been wanting to try this place out as many of my friends recommended it.

Up front let me say I do like this place. I can see some room for improvement but they knock out some pretty tasty fruit, cream and savory pies.

The pies are all individual based, with hand pies for some of the savories, some of which resemble empanadas. Of the savory pies I tried I think I like the Jamaican Beef one the best. It had a unique blend of spices that I found worked quite well together.

I also tried the Cheeseburger Pie, the Beef Bourguignon and the Pork Bun Pie. All a good mix of flavors and textures.

The Pork Bun Pie, to me, is more of an egg roll pie…which is awesome by the way!!! When I think “Pork Bun” I think BBQ pork in a soft chewy bun. The fillings for this pie are pork, carrots and cabbage which are the main ingredients for an egg roll so If you go in expecting the Pork Bun to be BBQ Pork that is not the case….although it is a very good pie nonetheless! One that I would get again!!

The Cheeseburger pie needs more cheese, and the seasoning is a little sweet but this is still a good showing. Maybe add some caramelized onions or something.

Of the sweet pies I tried a few fruit pies and a cream pie. I had the strawberry Rhubarb, the Peach Berry Crumble and the Chocolate Coconut Cream pies. All were good.

The Strawberry Rhubarb was good but kinda basic. The Peach Berry Crumble was amazing as was the Chocolate Coconut Cream pie. You need to really like coconut to enjoy this pie as it is LOADED with it! I love coconut so I thoroughly enjoyed this pie.

All in all a very nice place for all...

This isn't just a place to grab a cherry pie on your way to the in laws' house! The pies here are the real thing, homemade crust, local ingredients, all done just right. Beyond those usual pies, they have mini one person pies, and hot pies too! Pot pies look really really good, I haven't tried yet but I will! The hand pies though... Think samosas or calzones or hot pockets kind of thing, but made with their homemade crust and filled with a variety of cultural staples from everywhere. Those are really REALLY good. I had the Japanese Curry chicken hand pie, and immediately wanted another one. Bonus! I'm deaf and found out that on the first Tuesday of the month they have a discount available if you order in sign language! (They have a deaf employee, you won't get by faking it!) Go grab a pie, you'll be...

This kudos is coming a few months late, but it’s so well-deserved… Besides their amazing Elvis pie that I crave constantly, PPC’s customer service goes above and beyond. I pre-ordered three cream pies for my casual wedding rehearsal dinner, and I didn’t realize until the day of that I placed the order for the FOLLOWING Friday!!! Never fear: PPC rushed into action, made the pies, and because everything was so chaotic for me the day before my wedding, PPC volunteered to deliver the order to our dinner location. Despite the last-minute order, the pies arrived before I did, and the delivery driver called me to make sure we got them. It was awesome!!! And it gave my out-of-town wedding guests a delicious taste of Petaluma...

I had the Strawberry Rhubarb pie and it was a 5 out of 5. The pastry was well made. Very flakey, great flavor and baked perfectly. The Strawberries and Rhubarb inside of the crust were tart but sweet at the same time. Not overly sweet or gloopy. One of the best I've ever had. The chocolate hazelnut pie my Bestie had was nowhere near as good. It wasn't sure if it was a brownie in a pie crust or a chocolate lava pie and it was very, very dry. The tables were super small but there was a place to sit outside. It's Spring outside and gorgeous out so we were happy to sit outside. All that being said, we'll be back for the Strawberry Rhubarb pie and maybe to try something new.

Fantastic pie shop in the sweetest little corner of Downtown Petaluma. We fell in love with this shop during our fist visit to Petaluma. Fast forward a year, we celebrated our wedding in Tomales and instead of traditional wedding cake, ordered a bunch of delicious pies from Petaluma Pie. The pies were absolutely perfect and a huge hit with guests. We were going for a "rustic chic" vibe for our wedding so pies played perfectly into that theme. Prices are vey fair and the Staff is excellent to work with figuring out the correct quantities, sampling, etc.. Would highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat or for any large event.
