Pflugerville Pfarmers Market — Attraction in Pflugerville

Basic farmer's market in a big barn. Items are overpriced, vegetables are small and not healthy looking. I guess, if you want to pay $30 for a jar of "local" honey. I took my DSLR there to snap some general photos of the event and was rudely accosted and told it was illegal to take photos without permission. ( It's not). I just left and never returned. Just not worth it, unless your into the whole pretend organic novelty thing. One guy was selling knives he didn't even make, just bought bulk...

It has moved to the Green Red Barn behind the swimming pool. Please stop by and support these local artisans and farmers. This could be the absolute shiniest little gem of Pflugerville if residents would go. A few favorites of mine no longer showcase and this is sad. I miss Ghost Tree Farms' jams, Veg Out's chik'n pot pies, and others. I love HEB, too, y'all, but we gotta support our local small businesses...

Love going to the Pfarmers Market! In addition to the fresh produce there are vendors with homemade tamales (the hot cream cheese are to die for!), honey related products, usually have freshly frozen meats, crafts and more! There are a handful of chain bakery booths and local products made from our pecans. They even have live music...
