So start off by saying my mother had suggested this place. It had been a while since I've had a seafood boil as my last experience did not go very well. I arrived with my grandfather and my mother. There are a couple of options, but mostly everything is a combination of shrimp, sausage or crab. Everything comes with potatoes and you can get an egg or substitute it for additional corn. We went with the $55 plate that included three crabs, two eggs, two corns and 16 shrimp. We substituted one egg for an extra corn. You can choose a couple of flavors. We went with lemon pepper and Cajun which had those butters on the side. Everything else is drenched in the traditional butter. When our food arrived it looked beautiful and as I was taking pictures I didn't notice that we were missing our shrimp. Not a big deal. I did inform the staff who apologized and went and retrieved our portion and then added an additional 25% of shrimp to the order I guess for the inconvenience. This location does provide gloves and I'm assuming bibs of you looking for that type of shirt protection. Though don't quote me on that as I didn't ask but the gloves are for sure. If you have your own crab claw tools I would bring them because the ones on site are plastic claw breakers and they're very much a learning curve. Found myself biting the claws to release the meat. All the sides were great. The corn had good crunch to it while sucking up the buttered flavorness. The potatoes definitely come abundant and that's nice as I was able to take some home. The egg definitely could have been soaked longer. Maybe the eggs if they were pre-cooked and then sat in an butter sauce like the shrimp to absorb more as I didn't feel they got a lot of coverage inside. The shrimp was really good and definitely liked the deveining and cleaning of the shrimp. Very nicely cooked. Not overly done and had it a Good release of the tail when pulled. The desserts were definitely favorite part of the evening as the banana pudding is so creamy that I would almost not even call it pudding but a filling like you would for a pie. With real chunks of bananas tucked away and the vanilla wafers on top, it was a delight to enjoy this dessert. There is other flavors as well. Like a strawberry putting as well as the Apple cobbler. As pictured Clean up was nice as the staff did table buss for us as we ate without the expectation of an additional tip. There is a military discount but wheelchair access is on the opposite side of the building for ADA customers so expect to park the farthest away to the door. Definitely think this place is worth eating at and I can only imagine the atmosphere once there is people enjoying the bar. I'm told Thursdays and Fridays are lines out the door.

Where do I begin??? Because of past issues with long wait times, it's been over a year since we last placed an order here. But my Stepmother wanted Krab Kingz for Mother's Day, so I rolled the dice again. I called last week to make sure they'd be open & after several days of the phone just ringing I finally got through & inquired about hours, wait time, busy hours, etc and was assured that placing an order on Mother's Day would be fine. Feeling good, but not overconfident I decided to place an online order @ 1:30pm, to be ready @ 3:15pm, for our dinner @ 4pm. (Note: I live 10 minutes away. ) Knowing "how they do", I gave them an extra 15 minutes and arrived @ 3:30pm, stood in line, then asked for my order. The 1st clue that something was wrong: Three workers huddled up, whispering then they told me it would be 15 minutes. (Yeah right!) Sat down & talked to the MANY other customers who were also waiting for their food: The 1st guy (sitting with his daughter) called his order in, but still waited over an hour... 2nd guy (Doordash) couldn't wait and canceled the order on the spot... 3rd guy (from Georgetown) said he also placed his order online around 2pm for a 3:15 pickup, arrived on time and had been waiting ever since... there were approximately 7-8 other people (including a pregnant woman) who were also waiting, many over an hour. One person (another guy from Georgetown who works for Walmart) noticed that no one was actually cooking in the kitchen. Turns out they ran out of crab and someone had to go get it. (One of the little workers FINALLY confessed it to us.) After the taller guy with his hat on backwards returned (presumably with fresh crabs) the orders started to slowly come out. Some to dine in customers, some to online & call in orders that were waiting with me. Around 4:30pm (yes, I was late to the Mother's Day dinner that I planned @ my house where everyone was waiting for me and the food!🤦🏿‍♂️) I asked the young lady how much longer it would be. She returned and quietly told me that they ran out of sausages and asked me if I would be fine with extra shrimp or extra sides, otherwise it would take another 10 minutes. I opted for the shrimp and she walked away. Clearly they didn't want to do that because my order did not finally materialize until about 5pm. By then, all of my new "friends" had gone (except for the Walmart Brotha.) Recap: I called days in advance to assess readiness, placed the order online two hours prior to pickup, arrived 15 minutes late (to accommodate them 😏) and STILL waited 1.5 hours for food that I already paid for. No one checked on us, no one offered water, no one offered a discount, no one came over just to say "sorry, we appreciate your patience"... nothing! NOTHING! I finally made it home around 5:10pm (remember, I only live 10 minutes away.) and everyone was hungry and waiting. To add insult to injury, my wife also ordered food from Tony's Jamaican around the same time that I did and had it @ the house warming all that time.

Needless to say I will NEVER spend time or money @ Krab Kingz again. If it wasn't for my Stepmother, I would've cancelled the order & left. Normally I wouldn't leave a public review and handle it one-on-one... but I can already tell that they don't really care about customer service. Shout out to all the cool people that I met while waiting, especially Michaux Clopton who shares some KAZI FM lineage with me. Oh, yeah... the food is good no doubt, but it's not worth all of this! Major 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

Edited: You see the pathetic response below? That's about all I expected from them and the reason why I stated earlier that they simply don't seem to care about the experience that their customers (plural) are having. Also, today was Mother's Day EVERYWHERE. Virtually every restaurant or eatery was hella busy today, including Tony's Jamaican. But somehow they managed to serve their customers in a timely & professional manner.

I really hate being this way, but your poor service ruined our Mother's Day dinner & an apology...

This was a nightmare experience. I NEVER got my food and would NOT recommend this restaurant.

Placed my order 7:23 pm. Received confirmation that order would be ready in 40-45 minutes.

Arrived at location. Went inside and was given number 15 and asked my name. Asked how my order was tied to my number, but was assured that all was taken care of and to wait in my car.

Waited in car for 20 minutes. Went back into location to ask about order and told my order would be right out. They asked for my order number and I gave it to them. They said they would check on it.

Went back to my car. Waited another 15 minutes. Asked a lady who was delivering food and she asked what my number was. She assured me she would she would check on my order.

Another 10-15 minutes go back. I stopped second delivery person. She said my order was on the counter and she would go get it.

Another 15 minutes goes by and I finally go into location. No one can find my order. They claim they never got it.

At this point, I request a refund and this is when they report back they can’t give me a refund.

Krab Kingz tells me to call menufy.com to get my refund. Why they couldn’t give me the refund is beyond me. But this story doesn’t end here.

I call menufy.com and they tell me that received confirmation from restaurant that my order was received one minute after it was placed.

Menufy reports they shouldn’t have to refund the money. I explained I am just the customer who never received my order.

Menufy says they will email me. I request a phone call. They call me back to give me refund.

What a hassle and terrible experience for a customer.

On several occasions, I requested to speak to manager and I could not get a phone number or even a name for a manager. No one would tell me when the manager would be in or would let me leave my number to give feedback.

It’s as if they don’t care that customers are waiting over an hour and a half food. I was just most disappointed that not a single person could help me after 4 attempts on my part to get my order fixed. It seemed like nobody was trained or knew what to do.

Very disappointed. I placed order at 7:23 pm and I left the restaurant without any food at 9:50 pm.

I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone who actually...
