UPDATE: I am sorry to say but I don’t think I will be returning after how I was treated today. I came in around 12:25 as a walk in and was informed that they had appointments at 12:30. I said I didn’t mind waiting. So they proceeded to remove the gel from my nails. 12:45 rolled around and the appointment hadn’t arrived. 5 minutes later the appointment walked in and apologized for being late, and one of them was serviced immediately. All they did for me at this point was take off my gel polish. After about an hour of waiting I decided it was time to go. It would have been nice if they would have told me it would be over an hour when I first got there so I could have at least left and come back. I also think it’s bad business to leave a walk in waiting for an appointment who was negligent and didn’t arrive on time. While I completely understand how busy you were and there isn’t much you can do to speed up the wait time, I think you guys need to work on your communication and let people know the approximate wait time when they agree to wait if it’s going to be over an hour. What also has me miffed is the fact that I’ve been a loyal customer all summer, I’ve even sent friends over and I was still charged $10 for the removal of gel on my nails (which took over half an hour to do)
It would have really made me feel appreciated if you guys would have waived that for me since I’ve been loyal. Especially considering nobody really gave me their full attention today.
This is still a good nail salon regardless. They are clean and they use good products and I would still recommend to friends to come here during the week when they aren’t as busy. The main issue was the lack of communication. Also while I don’t feel entitled to free services, (Hence why I didn’t just up and walk out. I actually told them I had to go and asked how much I owed for the gel removal) I do feel they should have given a loyal customer a pass...
Read moreWent here for set of gels with an appointment- overly packed and I get that because it's a holiday in a few days so I was patient the whole time. Makeshift nail tables everywhere, I was shuffled around to three spots before a woman filed my nails and completely butchered the long nails I had when I came in, now i have to cut them all off to stubs, naturally I wanted them to be nice for the holidays. They are completely uneven and jagged, crooked on my fingers it's a total mess. Legit looks like someone took a hacksaw to them. I'm sorry but I don't know how any normal person, let alone a professional, could think they were doing a good job here. I really wish I didn't let them touch me while clearly rushing. I was told to get up mid-way through the file/prep for someone else to sit in my spot and was just standing there in the way for 10 mins or so. This was after waiting almost a half hour after my appointment time which was annoying but NBD considering it was busy. I decided to just walk out because I knew the quality was going to be bad and the way they had filed my nails and were treating me alone was a total disaster. They weren't really paying any attention to me so they probably didn't even really notice. I wasn't visibly upset or anything just decided I couldn't deal with the insanity of the place anymore. I am not one to write bad reviews, this place is just fine on a regular day, maybe 3 stars, not great, not ever this terrible. but they are taking too many people and the quality they are putting out is really shameful. They botched my hands completely. I am a generally understanding person especially when it comes to service but i wanted to warn others about this experience, I woulda made an appointment...
Read moreWorst experience I've ever had at any salon! I got a regular manicure and pedicure. My nail tech was extremely distracted while she was working with me. My nails were shaped extremely unevenly. She cut the cuticles on one foot but not the other. She was also pretty sloppy with the nail polish application. I'm not one to freak out, so I paid, left and just planned on never returning. Unfortunately, two weeks later, I'm still dealing with the side effects of this appointment. I had her bring over 3 different nail polish brands, which were similar colors before we got started. I chose one of those colors to go on my toenails and fingernails. After she finished my pedicure, I think she lost track of which color she used on my toenails and used a similar color on my fingernails, but it was a different brand which is not what I asked for. This has cause me a HUGE problem. I think she used gel nail polish on my finger nails because I CANNOT get it off! My toe nail polish came off with normal remover, no problem. I cannot get the polish on my nails to budge. I did not ask for gel polish, and would not have wanted it for this very reason. As some of the polish has started to peel off, I'm noticing my nails are brittle and ashy looking underneath. I came in with strong, healthy, long natural nails. Now I've had to trim my nails down to the tips of my fingers because of how weak they are. And I cannot get this damn nail polish off! I'm currently soaking my nails in 100% acetone. Over 15 minutes of soaking, I still can't get it off. Avoid this place...
