Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my last services given at Hessert recently. I went in due to a Rumbling/Vibration every time I hit 20-60 mph. I could not pinpoint what the issue was but this is a brand new car I recently purchased there and it should not be doing this everyday. Upon the arrival I mentioned that I thought it was the speakers and the gentleman who checked me in told me there were issues with the speakers. I understand that sometimes the problems do not get resolved immediately and takes time to identify, but I waited 2 and half hours for them to tell me that nothing was wrong with my car and that they "tightened" everything up and it should be fine. Not even 3 minutes down the road I hit 30 mph and it immediately starts to vibrate/rumble again. I turned around and returned to the dealership but was unable to be seen again that day. I had to reschedule an appointment and come back. I am already frustrated that I have to come back but I make another appointment for 2 days later. I get the same person to check me in, I tell him I took the time to look up service bulletin's in response he tells me there's a million of them. I understand there may be a million issued BUT I had found an example of exactly what my car was doing and attempted to show him he said I have the notes in your comments and will show the "shop steward." About an hour later they tell me it was the ANC reverb which is the bulletin I had mentioned when I came in and they had to reset the radio, so in the end it was an issue with the speakers which we addressed the FIRST visit there but it was unresolved even though I had said I thought it was the speakers. I wasted time having to come back for a second day. A second issue I had was that I mentioned twice that my windows do not lock and that they back left window does not go down again a brand new car that should not have these issues but I do understand sometimes they happen but I asked twice for it to get resolved and my back window STILL does not go down and my windows still do not lock. I understand things happen and get overlooked but this is twice now and is frustrating to have a new car not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreShaheed Santiago I took two of my vehicles in for service on 12/17/24 and 12/19/24. My 2008 suburban needed a check engine light diagnostic and I wanted to program new fobs for my 2023 Traverse. After picking up my traverse and driving home, the next morning my traverse would not start. It appears that the cars anti theft system by gm was activated and an ignition lock was placed so now I have to wait until Monday so Hessert can call GM to lift it. I spoke with the manager Ivon Brown who did accommodate me with a loaner while this issue gets resolved, but I still had to spend unnecessary money on uber to and from work for a total of $90. Today I went in to get the loaner and asked about my other vehicle and if there was a financing program available to get the repairs needed. I needed to get some personal property out of my suburban so I asked a specialist for access. We looked and looked and could not find my suburban. My suburban was no longer at the dealership, which brings me to question now as to where could it be. I was called on Thursday 12/19/24 with regards to the needed services and Saturday morning itās missing from the dealership. Theyāre assuming that it was towed and are awaiting confirmation. This is absolutely unacceptable service and irresponsible behaviour. When I leave my vehicle anywhere to be serviced Iām expecting for it to be in the best care. I donāt understand how a dealership displaces a car. And if it was towed as the specialist assumed, why was it towed and why wasnāt I notified. Two cars at this dealership and both are being mishandled at this point. Between the back and forth phone tag and the money spent, I exhausted mentally, financially and physically dealing with them. Iām a UPS driver so Iām not off until that last package is delivered. The last few days Iāve been working without a break, and practically running so I can get off in time to take an uber to the dealership to pick up my car only for it to not be completely functional for me to move forward with my everyday commute. Hessert Chevrolet, you have to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had to bring my car in four times in order for Hessert to properly fix the breaks on my 2023 Chevy Equinox. I purchased my vehicle in February of 2024, I took it in for an oil change and inspection in September 2024. After the inspection my breaks made a horrible squeaking and grinding noise. Prior to this visit I had absolutely no problem with my breaks. As I mentioned it took me four four visits in order for the breaks to be fixed. I was not happy that I had to take off from work to have this addressed. I checked with the Chevy y Corporate office to see if there were any recalls for breaks on the 2023 Equinox and the Chevy headquarters told me that there weren't any recalls on my vehicle. And yet, Hessert told me that Chevy said that they were having issues with the breaks on the 2023 Equinox which was not true and at a later time I would be called back in to have the matter resolved, but they were waiting for Chevy to send out the communication.
I am not happy with this dealership because of how much of my time you have wasted and in addition to this you did the bait and switch on me. My original deal was for a 2024 Equinox, which my sales rep Hassan said that was what the deal was for. I came in on a Friday night and left because the numbers weren't right. On Saturday morning Hassan called me and said my offer was accepted. i came in on Saturday afternoon the next day I was told that offer could only be accepted for the 2023 Equinox, this was after Hassan told me the 2024 deal was accepted. In my opinion this was unethical to say the least. I doubt very seriously that I will ever by another vehicle from this dealership.
My disappointment in your organization is at the highest level. In the old days a car dealership wanted to retain your business for years to come, in my opinion Hessert is not interested in long germ business but only the short sighted...
