We had our anniversary party at Strawberry Mansion in August and Open Air’s customer service was lackluster. They took weeks to respond to emails. Larissa the one who was supposed to be in charge of events seemed to be unclear when giving us information or had an excuse from her personal life on why time lapsed between responses. Once I wrote an email voicing that I wasn't happy with her or Open Air’s services instead of contacting me, the paying client, I receive a dismissive email from RaeChani who is supposed to be in charge telling me basically that I didn't read the contract, which by the way is far from the truth. I read but the representative, Larissa, was saying something different.
The emails are just one of the problems.. I never heard anything from Open Air after RaeChani's chastising email. No request of the paperwork that I was told I was supposed to submit for the event and no final receipt. If it wasn’t for the support of the caterer, I would have been totally lost! Poor business practice! I still never received a final receipt!
Open Air you are managing beautiful grounds and venues that sell themselves! That’s why I gave a 2 star rating, stunning grounds! Growing up in Philadelphia having events at any of the mansions in the park are the dreams of many girls/ladies. A check-off list for you, the caterer, and your client with clear listings, expectations, and communication would have made things run smoothly. Because of Open Air's poor customer service, I could never recommend venues that you represent.

The mansion is beautifully landscaped, featuring an arbor, cultivated gardens and a big grassy, treed backyard. There's also an active apiary. The grounds and garden are free to stroll during the day. Some guided public tours are offered each year. There is free parking leading up to the mansion.
