They give you a lot of food for the money. Breakfast seems to end around 3pm and then their lunch menu is available. Food: From what I've had, the beef nachos are fantastic because it is absolutely loaded. The mac n' cheese is also a good pick because it's creamy and the right amount of cheesy. Service: You order your food and are given 10-15 minutes to wait around for it. They seem to ask you to pay after the food is ready but if it's your preference to pay before, you can do that as well. They keep the Cafe clean sweeping periodically and wiping down/maintaining the cooking area. Atmosphere: Seems like a cool place to eat at, they seem to have a bar in the back so I can imagine the vibe changes later at night. In the morning/afternoon, it feels like a diner.

Pleased to stop by. Would the outside need to be a brighter atmosphere. The sign was visible, but I hesitated slightly from the dark outside. It looks like there's a bar for the evening? I see a photo where the interior was painted a lighter color, and that appears more inviting. I'm thinking about attracting a wider range of clientele would put the place on the map. Maybe hire an interior designer? The food was perfectly made, I had a BLT, and it was loaded with bacon. The portion was nice too. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, and the staff were welcoming. I would stop by here again.

Jay cooked my food tonight and let me just say…that was the best late night food I think I’ve ever had. Mac and cheese will never be the same for me again. My standards are sky high after what I just consumed. I’m from the western NY area and am always hesitant to order wings out of state. But GOT DAMN the house made wings FLOORED me!!! SO SO GOOD. I will be back here every time I visit Philly. Bravo boys yall are doing great things.

So this is my first review in a while , but I felt like I’d be remiss if I didn’t because the potential of this place is immeasurable!

Upon entry , very aesthetically pleasing. Nice “looking” tables (I’ll emphasize on the quotes in a bit”, smelled great , and people enjoying their meals. Now upon walking in for the first time, we didn’t know if we just sit , or be seated. No signs, no indication , aside from an awkwardness of everyone staring at us and US having to ask if we just sit anywhere. No welcome greeting , nothing.

We sat there for 10-15 minutes with no menu , nothing… but again , it smelled great in there lol a waitress , female, finally said she would be over. We ordered the Fish & Grits , and Pancakes for our little broke best friend. Our food took almost an hour to come out , and once they realized we caught that they forgot to start our food, the customer service / tone changed. Folks that came in after us, legit got their food before us. The system in which orders are sequentially received just needs to tighten up. I could see if it was super busy and you told us it would be a minute but again , very minimal communication and it had nothing to do with the waitress (SHE WAS AMAZING), and I heard her tell them our order multiple times!

Once we did get our food after forever , we finally got a “sorry for the wait, but it was worth it .. right?” Naw homie.. despite the food being undeniably delicious, nothing that takes 10-15 minutes , should take an hour n change to be received. I’ll say again , the food was AMAZING ! The tables were nice to look at , but rocked like the Titanic after it hit the iceberg- definitely need to be corrected as I thought my food was going to fall multiple times. Apparently they had hookah too , but we didn’t get any indication they even sold it.

Altogether , this rating was more so based on the customer service piece. If that improves, this place is an undeniable 5 star spot! I honestly want to recommend to all my friends, and I hope this review is helpful because I want nothing less than for this...

During my visit I received no greeting. We sat at the top near the cook to get a seat and the table top was disgusting. A dirty towel was just sitting there and our menu had dried pancake mix on our menu disgusting! The cook needs to be retrained in serve safe food servicing because he touch a dirty towel and then someone plates to hand out with dirty gloves on. That is a health hazard and a huge you’re taking when serving people food. He proceeded to crack eggs on the table top where customers eat in front of me actually. That is disgusting and again a health hazard to have raw egg near customers and where they will be consuming the food. This place needs to be checked by the health department because there were many code violations just by looking directly into the cooking area. No coordination or idea of service. No workers to service the customers either. Please just close the doors or a total 360 change needs...

I had been riding past this spot for a few weeks and finally decided to stop one Sunday 12/5 for breakfast. I ordered $60 worth of food and it was not worth the prices. Grits were hard, and not flavorful; eggs were salty, pancakes too flat. I asked for the beef bacon to be fried hard and well done with extra bacon and that was not done. Only the french toast and shrimp I ordered hit my pallet favorably. Such a shame as the place is constructed beautifully to entice you to stop, but like was the cook tired that day. I was disappointed. I attempted to call immediately after I got home with my take out order, to express my distaste, but no answer. I hope this was just a one off, but based on this error, you lost a possible repeat customer and I left a tip thinking my food was going to slap. SMH. No need to respond to me,...
