An absolute treasure. Woodford Mansion is a must-visit! I truly canât say enough wonderful things about my experience at Woodford Mansion. The house is a beautifully preserved piece of history, filled with incredible artifacts and stories. Every room feels like a window into the past. Our tour guide was outstandingâwarm, incredibly knowledgeable, and eager to share. They answered every single question we had and made the history come alive.
I happened to visit during the Apple Festival and Pawpaw Palooza, which made the day even more special. The event was beyond charming. It was full of fun, learning, and a real sense of community. I got to try fresh figs for the first time, sample different types of apples, press my own apple juice, paint pumpkins, and play fall-themed games. It was all hands-on and engaging for both kids and adults.
What really impressed me was the focus on local farming, sustainability, and education. The staff and volunteers were so generous with their time and knowledge. You could feel how much love and care went into every part of the event.
The mansion grounds are absolutely beautifulâpeaceful, green, and perfect for exploring. I could have spent all day just walking around and taking it in. This place is a true gem in the city. I will absolutely be coming back for future events and plan to bring friends with me. Woodford Mansion deserves every bit of praise and support. Itâs a place that stays with you long...
