What a wonderful place for travelers and locals alike! If you're in the south philly area and it is definitely a must see. The museum goes over everything from the history of the parade, to the intricacies of the costumes, to the designs from the drawing board. You can even dress up in mummers costumes and hats! The museum is free but make sure you throw in a dollar or two to keep the place going. We went on a Saturday afternoon and we were the only ones at the museum. There is some parking behind the building and street parking everywhere. The basement of the museum is also an event space for up to 200 people I believe.

These folks are amazing! Had a fabulous 80th birthday event! The museum and staffcould not have been more accommodating! The space the staff and parking all made for an incredible event- not to mention Quaker city string band and Martha Graham Cracker and band to add to the show

A great Philadelphia tradition captured in this museum. Minutes from the main attractions in Center City and the riverfront. A must see for fans of a true Philadelphia tradition. Great venue too for events. Parking lot available behind the building from 2nd Street.

The Mummers Museum is a museum that celebrates the history and culture of the Mummers, who are costumed entertainers that perform in the annual New Year’s Day parade in Philadelphia. The museum showcases the elaborate costumes, musical instruments, and memorabilia of the Mummers, as well as their origins and traditions. The museum also offers interactive exhibits, such as a “strut” station, where visitors can learn how to dance like a Mummer, and a costume workshop, where they can create their own outfits. The museum also hosts events and programs throughout the year, such as live performances, lectures, and workshops. The Mummers Museum is a fun and educational destination for anyone interested in learning more about this unique...

I have never experienced a more unprofessional staff in my life! Trudi St Marie and Mark Montanaro were disrespectful to my entire family while attending an event at the mummers museum. Trudi screamed at our 5-8 year old children calling them animals for running up the stairs and acting like children. Mark was observed inviting people into the party that were not invited guests. When my family approached them Trudi called us drunk and began screaming "this is my museum" get out. Trudi and Mark are ignorant disrespectful and lack a severe amount of customer service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS HALL! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND...
