Pine Manor Apartments — Attraction in Philadelphia

I have lived at Pine Manor since 2021. Overall I have had a good experience, especially with the staff. Maintenance is always kind and helpful. The office staff has always been very accommodating in my experience. My only pits are, because it’s an older building it is a bit noisy. A lot of the residents slam doors and aren’t very mindful of how the sound travels from their apartment and the hallways.

The hallways themselves could be kept up better. There are a lot of stains on the walls from people moving in and out or just not being courteous that they live in an apartment building. It would be nice if there were some updates to the buildings and some of the units. It seems that the only updates made are to the units that are now going for $1500 or more. Additionally, if local walking traffic couldn’t get into the courtyard area that would be great. There have been people who will use the benches or just make noise or leave their dog trash around. However, this isn’t a reason to stay away.

Overall, my experience here has been good and most of the residents I’ve encountered have been kind. I hope Pine Manor continues to be a safe, well maintained and positive...

Mary Duffy is THE BEST property manager. Every issue is addressed quickly. Most recently my air conditioning/heating system had to be replaced during a heatwave. Maintenance responded on a Sunday within an hour and set up a portable unit to get me thru until it was replaced. In was completed by that Friday which during a heatwave when hvac contractors are overwhelmed was impressive. Mary kept me continuously updated on the progress of getting the replacement unit installed and checked to make sure everything was ok with the portable unit. She is always pleasant and goes out if her way to see that any issues are resolved as soon as possible. I have lived in this complex over 10 years and have been very happy here. The only reason I left this complex was because I wanted a washer and dryer but I would have stayed for much longer. First, the level of communication from both Terri and now Mary; current property manager, was beyond amazing. Mary stepped in place of Terri and that was right at the beginning of Covid, and there was never ever any delay in communication with any matters. The same level of communication was seen for maintenance crew, requests were handled quickly and the problem was actually resolved. Would highly highly recommend Pine Manor. I wouldn’t recommend Pine Manor building 2 as it is an older building that’s comes with older building issues such as thin walls, but other than that, no complaints. Thank you for a...
