LESOUK MARKET (CAFE & CREPERIE) — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Unfortunately I have to give this place a low rating because first I went to Bishop & bought pistachio baklava & then went next door to Lesouk because they have more flavors & I wanted walnut as well. When I go home and bit into the baklava something very hard was in it & my tooth started hurting. When I spit it out it is a Pebble. A ROCK. How ?? I bit on it! I am very disappointed with how Lesouk went about everything. I spoke to the person who took my order twice & she said a manager would call me but it's been a few days & no call, no message back, nothing. There was a literal pebble in the pistachio baklava. My tooth started to hurt when it happened & I mentioned it was hurting & still does. I was so confused & I'm so glad it was not my younger sister who was the one who ate that piece ! Anyone of us could have swallowed that but I did bite into it & I really hope my tooth doesn’t have a crack in it because that will be...

I feel so bad that I’m writing this review but this is unacceptable. I have always ordered from this store and the food has been really good but not this time. Its been two times in a row that the girl on the phone gets the order wrong. This time I ordered a crepe with nutella banana and white chocolate topping . The crepe did not have nutella but it was chocolate spread not nutella. If she did not have nutella at least she should have told me and the white chocolate topping was missing. I ordered a bubble waffle with white chocolate and banana. I got a bubble waffle that had only banana. I called the store again and she told me it has white chocolate. I end up trying the waffle and I did not taste like it has white chocolate. I end up throwing the crepes and the bubble waffle in the trash. We are regulars and we have always tipped even for pick ups. It’s a shame that a good spot like this is dropping...

I love the menu everything tastes great and fresh and the whole place is very esthetically please, if I could give any friendly advice I would say please welcome your customers with smiles and eagerness. I have visited twice and both time have received really good welcome vibes from the brown skinned sister who works cash register the other time I almost felt like I was a burden just for ordering, customer service is everything when it’s the community who’s visit support the business.We also have received take out containers for our food when we’ve m told staff that we are “dining in” which was a little off putting especially because when you dine in it would be nice take photos or videos at times and that’s simply no going to happen with to go containers. I love the whole idea of this place please take this humble review as good...
