Had a wonderful time here today. You were able to tour one colonial house and a single room building. The house was two rooms downstairs and two upstairs with one being a bedroom the other looked like a drawing room. It was a self tour but at the entrance was a person dressed in colonial garb to answer questions and offer stories about living in those times. The single room building was for cooking and had a gentleman making sweet griddle cakes that were delicious. The young lady offered us two types of pepper pot soup. One with cracked pepper which was hotly served and tasted very peppery. It was so awesomely good that I have to find a recipe at least similar in peppery taste.
