Park Manor Deli — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Never again. I found this place a few months ago when my mother asked for a deli sandwich. The first few times they were great. My mom loved her treat from them. Last night, we picked up a sandwich and the first few bites seemed off but my mother thought maybe it was her. However we had someone else try it and they immediately noted the meat was off.

The result was my mother ended up getting sick immediately. I called them to let them know. They offered a refund. At the time I told them I wasn't bringing back the sandwich as my mother had gotten sick on it. They said ok. I went back to the store. Upon walking in I also informed them that the condiments they had sitting out were old, even showing the how the clumping of the hot sauce was an indicator. The cook told me I was wrong, it was still good.

I tried to tell the cashier, who I assume is the owner. We've never had any issues in the past, has always been pleasant. When I informed her what happened she asked for the sandwich. I told her as I told the cook on the phone, I was not transporting that back. She than got nasty and asked "well what you want from me". I explained to her, to remove the meat from your inventory cause it was bad. She asked the cook again who claimed it was good. (Mind you ham with a film to it is not good). She than asked for the sandwich again. once more I explained why I did not bring it back to the store. At this point she accused me of having eaten the sandwich. My response was to look her in the face and tell her, "we've been loyal to your shop as my mother really liked the quality of your sandwiches, I came to tell you about a problem and you insult. You don't have to worry about my coming back here again. You obviously don't need my money". With that I walked out and I will never frequent this establishment again. I ordered from grubhub and I must say I can't blame grubhub not 1 bit. I ordered a corned beef hoagie with lettuce tomatoes pickles hots and sweets mayo oil vinegar and a 1.25lt Pepsi.... first mistake was the lack of meat on my hoagie I swear I tell no lies when I took the first bite all i could taste was bread and veggies no meat no cheese I had to go in the fridge and put some turkey lunch meat to help it out then my next bite and all I taste is onions now one thing about me is I hate onions with a passion and what do I find on my hoagie ONIONS and not the sliced onions that I can pick off but chopped onions that was cut up and hard to pick out like who does onions like that and put them on someone's hoagie when they didn't not ask for them.... first time last time off I figure out how to post...

I was just having a taste for a sandwich on Mother’s Day across the street with my friend doing laundry and to my surprise a deli scores the street I guess no one believes in opening on time and closing on time … I get there at 7:25 and they tell me they closing in four minutes I go outside the store and they literally are still open then I was told out loud as I left the store how you forget it’s Sunday in the meantime not even from this area well I don’t argue I just give reviews they have a non-chalant attitude about customer service I give one star about it simple end of story..
