Fountains In the Green — Attraction in Phoenix

We moved into this apartment complex two years ago and we love it. We picked this place for a couple of strategic reasons. The fact that it’s gated is amazing. Having the electric included is helpful, washer and dryer in the apartment so there is no extra cost for washing clothes at a laundromat, and a parking space even though it’s a little tight. The roadside parking is awesome if you can get a good spot otherwise you might have to park around the corner. But in the seven years and we’ve known people that lived here. There are very few issues with vehicles being damaged or broken into. So even if you aren’t parking behind a locked gate your car is fairly safe as long as you take the proper precautions as far as locking your car up and not leaving things in your car. We love the fact that there are so many trees that it’s almost always shaded which brings the temperature down slightly during the summer and it almost feels like you’re living in the woods. As with any apartments, sometimes you have noisy neighbors or upstairs neighbors that stump around like their bowling all day. Overall the neighbors are friendly and quiet. Front staff is amazing and works with you, security is friendly and tries to handle all complaints. We haven’t had to deal with maintenance very many times but the times we have they...

UPDATE AS OF JANUARY 2025: I'm super sad to report that FITG has gone WAY downhill since my first review... I'll come back and add details once I move out lol. This place is truly the best. I feel so happy, safe, and taken care of here. This is one of the most magical apartment complexes I’ve ever seen, there’s really nothing like it — especially these days when all new constructions look so blocky and prison cell-esque.

I’ve lived here for a few months now and have never seen a single bug or pest inside my apartment. Maintenance is always SUPER fast to respond to requests, usually coming by within a few hours or at least that same day. So friendly and helpful too.

The only “negative” thing I would say is that the units are very old. That aspect doesn’t bother ME at all, but people who are looking for upscale luxury and brand new, state-of-the-art appliances should probably look elsewhere lol. I will say though there were some great additions to my unit like upgraded faucets, mirrors, and lighting that really do wonders to modernize the place.

I lived here for a few years before moving out of state... and I have to say now that I’m moving back home, it’s one of the highlights of my move. They have a pool and jacuzzi that’s heated year round. I never had a problem with pests, but the so spray often. I wanna say 4ish years ago they had a kitty urine problem. But they started getting all the stray cats fixed so they no longer spray or have babies. When I moved in 2 years ago there wasn’t even a hint of cat urine. They do have local cats that patrol the complex, which I personally love. I can see how If you had an outside cat it might be a problem. But my two cats and dog never had any altercations with them. The neighbors are friendly, and the staff is seriously the best. They were always courteous and went above and beyond to fix any problems I ever had. The only complaint I had was the mosquitos... but I live in Florida currently..... So they can’t really compare to the beasts out here. It costs 100$ Deposit to put your name on a wait list, but don’t be too discouraged. I was only on one for less than a month, although I’ve heard it can take a little longer. But it’s well...
