He is the best guy I know for diagnosing and fixing issues with radios, amplifiers, antennas and more. Big focus on 11 meters, because they are located in an 18 Wheeler service center, but the guys here are hams or know the answers to many questions. Read moreVery knowledgeable fella. Came to better my Bearcat 880. It only reached about a mile. My CB antenna was on the right. He says in a Peterbilt that side is passive for a CB. It’s for the AM/FM radio & TV if you have one. He said the best luck he has had on a car hauler is an aluminum shaft to raise it up & get away from the cables & vehicle over the roof & a Hustler beer can antenna. I went in with non existent SWR basically. He was amazed the CB even worked.
