This is a great radio shop, with everything you could need in a place to buy your accessories, cables and more. No matter what the issue is, Zane will figure it out. He is the best guy I know for diagnosing and fixing issues with radios, amplifiers, antennas and more. Big focus on 11 meters, because they are located in an 18 Wheeler service center, but the guys here are hams or know the answers to many questions. Zane is a licensed op as well, and I would trust him with my best equipment. First of all hard to find. No signage. This place is in the back of a busy shop.He does not answer the phone. Door locked gotta go find the guy. Then I found him and he was rude. “ what do you need I’m swamped?” All this with a cigarette in his mouth. Real professional guy. The truckers might think your swell but you suck. Very knowledgeable fella. Came to better my Bearcat 880. It only reached about a mile. My CB antenna was on the right. He says in a Peterbilt that side is passive for a CB. It’s for the AM/FM radio & TV if you have one. He said the best luck he has had on a car hauler is an aluminum shaft to raise it up & get away from the cables & vehicle over the roof & a Hustler beer can antenna. I went in with non existent SWR basically. He was amazed the CB even worked. All said & done, parts & labor for $ 183.21 SWR @ 1.16, radio antenna on the right, CB antenna on the left & it works really well...
