The surrounding area is definitely sus and there was a distinct stench of weed in the air when we arrived, BUT. This is a genuinely nice park nestled like an oasis in the ghetto. It's been updated since the last posted pics from 4 years ago. I'll be adding new ones! There are musical features, two jungle gyms, one for younger and older kids, crazy monkey bars, a variety of swings including a special needs swing, one close-by ramada with a picnic table, and a spinning ride! There were some interesting characters hanging out in the parking lot, so I definitely wouldn't come after dark, but overall felt decently safe here! Would come again 👍

My kids have swim lessons at the community pool. My three kids and I drive 20 minutes to this pool. Not because it's closest but because it's better. My kids have swim lessons at the community pool. My three kids and I drive 20 minutes to this pool. Not because it's closest but because it's better. Madison Park is in a good neighborhood, located at approximately 1600 E. Campbell. Pretty much 16th street and Campbell, it has a wide variety of small businesses and other residential properties in this, older but well maintained and kept up area of central to east Phoenix, depending on how you choose to call it. I have a doctor's office that I visit in the general area and to tell you the truth, it looks more like a nice residential location than a can't miss sky scraper, that sticks out like a sore thumb. 😆. So basically everything around Madison Park is located in a nice and good looking, easy on the eye part of town. This last thing would be, if you wanted a small business location or a nice and comfortable area to live, this would be the...
