This place is a yes. The owner + his team know what good coffee is, they roast their own stuff on site. Absolutely go here. Vibes are 100. They don’t get much better. Clean as FLIP, modern, big windows everywhere, tons of space, super tall & clean ceiling. People seemed super nice. Talked to owner for a bit. Open dude willing to talk shop and help you find the drink you’re looking for. Drink was really good. Their stuff is specialty - meaning, unless specified, you’re getting smooth microfoam-steamed milk, balanced with espresso. Just read the menu and you’ll understand. In my opinion they strive for the best coffee methods. Their beans are ethically sourced from farmers with actual names (read their bags of coffee) and roasted lightly. (I got the cappuccino, if you want it to be single origin, just ask. To have a balanced taste they are currently offering a blend by default (which was smacky but I do enjoy single origin personally). Fear not though, the blend is two single origin coffees). I hope the consumer moves this direction for coffee. And this location is going to super succeed. Please check it out... also their specialty drinks look freaking smack but I had to get a cap first time through.. but check em out. Also they carry Süss pastries (and they use süss syrups for the drinks!!) GO HERE. Brady

I recently checked out Moxie Coffee Co., and it instantly earned a spot on my short list of favorite coffee shops in Phoenix. Tucked within a sleek apartment complex in the Biltmore area, it feels like one of those hidden gems you’re almost tempted to keep to yourself. The aesthetic is everything—beautifully minimal with crisp white walls, low-profile furniture, and thoughtfully placed greenery that brings just the right touch of life to the space. It’s quiet, calming, and designed to make you breathe a little slower—a welcome contrast to the usual hustle of city coffee spots. The menu keeps it simple (which I love), but every detail feels intentional. I had the Salted Caramel Latte with oat milk, and it was absolutely spot on—smooth, rich, and just sweet enough. And the browned butter chocolate chip cookie? Unreal. Gooey, golden, and totally worth the trip on its own. Whether you’re catching up with friends, getting lost in a good book (or writing one), or knocking out some work, Moxie is the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Obsessed with this place. We have come here for the past 6 Sundays in a row for coffee and pastries. It is such a relaxing space and everything we have tried has been delicious. We met Matt on our first visit and he gave us a little mini coffee class and made recommendations for ground coffee bags. He even ground them at a specific size when I mentioned I was going to be using them to make cold brew so that the fine particles wouldn’t escape my mesh filter. All of the bags I’ve tried have been incredible. I usually drink my cold brew without any creamer or sweetener just to avoid the extra calories, but I didn’t exactly enjoy it and kinda just suffered through it for the caffeine. But now that I’m making my cold brew with Moxie’s ground coffee I actually love it straight and don’t feel like I’m missing out at all by skipping the creamer. You can tell he puts a lot of passion into their coffee selections. Can’t wait to return tomorrow for our new favorite Sunday tradition!

We drive past Moxie all the time, so we finally decided to give it a try. We came here for the first time yesterday, and don’t think we will be coming back. The parking is easy, and the atmosphere is nice (a nice work vibe, and was busy). Ordering was easy and staff were friendly, however, the coffee and food were not good. We ordered 2 iced dark chocolate mochas, 1 chocolate croissant, and 1 cinnamon bun. The cinnamon bun was the only thing that was good. My boyfriend had the chocolate croissant, and only the last 2 bites had chocolate. The coffee was surprisingly bad. I’m not even sure what was wrong with it specifically, but it had a very off/sour taste. We are very big coffee drinkers, and enjoy coffees all over the spectrum (in terms of black coffee, different types/drinks, different sweetness levels, etc.). As soon as my boyfriend took 1 sip, he was like “this does not taste right”… so I tried it, and immediately something was off. Again, I’m not sure how to describe the taste other than a weird sourness… it was somewhat bitter and watered-down, but in a very strange way. With that being said, we each only had about 2 sips of our coffees and left. We won’t be back and do not recommend this place for their...
