Mexican Arts Imports — Attraction in Phoenix

The place is room after room after room of very interesting items. You can look and look and there is still more around the corner! You will find everything from interesting jewelry, artwork, religious pieces, sugar skulls, Dia de los Muertos items, furniture, wall art, outdoor items, outdoor furniture, on and on.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you can't find something they will help you find it. They seem to truly care about customer service and the customer experience, which is very much appreciated.

Other reviewers have said the prices here are good and so much better than in Scottsdale. Well, everything is overpriced in Scottsdale. That does not mean that the prices are reasonable in this place, however. I do appreciate the variety and the good customer service, but the prices are really quite high.

You can park on the street, or in the small lot right in front of the store. Also, maybe call before you go, because I got there about an hour before closing one day but they were planning on closing early and I didn't know that until I got there. When I first moved to Phoenix, mucho years ago, we'd trek down to Nogales to bargain for, & buy, Mexican handicrafts. Now I'll just be shopping here! Also fab place to bring friends visiting from East Coast who want to bring back gifts/souvenirs. Block out at least an hour to meander & check out all there is to choose from...

They have EVERYTHING, from miniature to massive: Black Oaxacan pottery All kinds of corazones aka hearts: metal, glass, one dimensional, three dimensional Crosses - made of ceramic, metal, old cacti Blue drinking glasses from Tlaquepaque, Mexico Mexican "serape" blankets in all the colors of the rainbow Household decor: light switch plates, knobs for cabinets, tissue box holders, tile numbers for exterior of house, pots for plants Serious selection of TILES!! Tiny crèche scenes for Christmas Talavera-style pottery - vivid colored ceramics Religious statues of Jesus, St. Francis, Virgin of Guadalupe Retablos: tiny scenes created in matchboxes that depict a couple getting married or someone who is an abogado (lawyer)

This place is AMAZING! You can find just about anything. So much stuff, it’s overwhelming! So colorful & vibrant. All kinds of Mexican imports; from planting pots of all sizes, and I do mean that LITERALLY! To fridge magnets, aprons, tequileras, bowls & plates, serving platters, outdoor decor, etc. It is a place you must see, you’re definitely bound to find something that suits your style. I experienced pleasant & friendly customer service. Only downside is that the isles a VERY narrow, some even impossible to get through and crowd control is tricky. **99% of the products are breakables!! 😅 They definitely need a warehouse, Costco style, for all these gorgeous nik-naks. Definitely coming back. I DO NOT recommend you bring children to this place. Parking is right off the street, location is easy to find,...
