Nu Nail Spa — Attraction in Phoenix

UPDATE 4 days later 🚩 the swelling & irritation on my toe has progressively gotten worse since the nail tech cut my skin during pedicure. This is taking into account my efforts to sanitize, cover, and treat via topical antibiotics, the following days. I am attaching photos of the drastic change. Planning to have it looked at later this week if it does not show signs of healing. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. The techs are unlicensed. Please note, in my original post I expressed how I was overcharged but at this point that is the least of my concerns. I am incredibly frustrated in the lack of sanitation and training efforts from this business. An absolute harm to public health. 🚩

I had the worst pedicure of my life yesterday. The lady cut my toenails so short that today I woke up with swollen ingrown toenails. She cut my skin and I was bleeding. In order to “make it right” she gave me the top of the line pedicure with massage and wax or whatever. I was still charged for a $55 pedicure even though I requested the $40 option. Wonderful professional staff. They do a fantastic job on both acrylics and pedicures with great prices. Massages chairs are excellent and atmosphere is always relaxing except the other day. A rude old lady with no appointment was throwing a tantrum about waiting when the place was packed. She should have been asked to go elsewhere. Ruined the experience for everyone in the spa that day, I left prior to my services being completed to not have to listen to her being nasty to the staff.
