I live on the other side of town from this store, but I decided to make the drive to check it out after reading not only all the great reviews but especially the one “bad” review from some holier-than-thou wacko spouting all sorts of nonsense about evil eyes and religious stuff. The owner's response to that review was so spot-on that I knew I had to check this place out for myself, and I'm so glad I did! The store has a fantastic selection of unique gifts and sundries, from quirky gag gifts, to antiques, to beautiful handcrafted trinkets and other items, plus plenty of Arizona-themed merch (which is always a great gift for out-of-town relatives). I found several great Christmas gifts for family members. The shop owner was super nice and fun to talk to, and very knowledgeable about his products. My boyfriend and I will always remember this unique shop and cool owner, and we...
Read moreAn awesome little shop with weird things you don't find in a typical gift shop. There are many items made by locals, incense, interesting foods, and more. The owner was super nice and we had a great conversation about the locally made specialties like dream catchers made by the Navajo or wind chimes, jewelry, rugs, bags, etc.
I felt like this was a great support for the local community as a guest/ tourist in the area. However, it's obvious that many residents go here to shop too. There are lots of wrapped gifts that are mystery buys and are apparently very popular too. There's interesting candies made with scorpions and crickets if you want something wacky! All in all, great place to visit and give...
