Sacred Heart Catholic Church — Attraction in Phoenix

I have been here twice for the 12:30 Mass. It's very well-attended. The music is fantastic and Father Paul always gives a good sermon.he seems like a pretty well-balanced man with good insight and a kind heart. At least from what I can tell. Buddies from the same neighborhood in New York as my cousin so that's pretty good. The church is beautiful. The painting or fresco behind the altar and above it is just incredible. It's a gigantic image of the sacred heart with angels and saint Michael the archangel and some other Angel and it's really incredible. The people are very enthusiastic and friendly and even though they're mostly Hispanic. I think there is strong faith in this community. and they're making a lot of improvements to the church which shows that they are dedicated to their community and their faith. Scared heart church is an historic icon that was constructed by neighborhood residents and parishioners with Father Albert Braun in the Golden Gate neighborhood 16th street and Buckeye road Phoenix, Arizona which has been in service for over 60 year's. . The historic Roman Catholic Sacred Heart Church was saved from demolition from the city of Phoenix airport expansion which demolished quaint home's , entire neighborhoods and businesses . Sacred Heart church is open for Christmas mass on Christmas day for parishioners . Neighborhood /Community Church. The few who still live in the neighborhood/community (Families surrounding Ann Ott Barrio), are from multigenerational families who have lived in one home for several decades. Those of us who had to relocate, it was because the City of Phoenix relocation plan, for the Airport expansion. The City demolished tons of homes, and separated so many families.
