When my daughter was born, her tongue and lip ties went undiagnosed for over a month. I was determined to breastfeed, but I was nearing the edge of despair with all of the problems we encountered. I had already breastfed my first child with no problems, so the constant pain, disappearing supply, latch problems, etc. were incredibly overwhelming. I was very hesitant to work with a lactation consultant having been let down by many leading up to our first visit. But Dana was different! I knew immediately that working with her on a regular basis was going to provide the support, encouragement, and practical help that we needed in order to continue. Every visit was extraordinarily helpful and worth our time. I was able to see firsthand how breastfeeding was improving, slowly but surely. My husband and I even called Dana in the midst of a crisis moment at home, and she was calm and ever so patient with us. I only wish that I had found her sooner. Love this place! Dana is amazing! I was about to give up on breast feeding until I met Dana! My baby had a recent lip and tongue tie release done with another lactation office and after our follow-up appointment at the other office, her latch wasn't improving and they explained thats all we can do and to continue the exercises with her.
