To Begin with this is a Certified US Walking Track with each lap being .334 miles and 3 laps equaling a fraction over 1 mile. This area has 24/7 Security provided by the Picayune PD & Pearl River County Sheriff's office via Security Cameras and Routine Patrols are very often. The Track has about a Dozen Park Style Benches throughout the course and Drink Vending Machines are on site. However Restrooms REQUIRE a key to use that can be purchased for $25 per year from the City of Picayune office. However use of the Track is Free and is Dog Friendly as long as you Follow the Rules listed Inside Crosby Commons. Parking is EXCEPTIONAL and there is Great Lighting for Night Time Use. My wife and I travelled here because we heard that it recently opened. We wanted to get a little bit of relaxing cardio in and thought this would be the perfect place. We started walking the decently sized track and noticed that Michael Buble followed us everywhere we walked.
They have speakers setup all over the grounds with what looked like areas for future vender stands. There's a pretty prominent stage on the grounds as well, which along with everything else, only makes me believe this place will be great for city events like concerts and farmer's markets.

The best place in all of Picayune, Mississippi to relax, picnic, walk, run, etc... My girlfriend and I actually had part of our first date here we had dinner at Applebee's, then we got frozen yogurt from Racetrac, then we went for a romantic stroll at the Commons (while eating our frozen yogurt, & talking), then to top it all off we went for a romantic drive around Picayune. Great place for a first date or any date. Well I hope you have figured out that this park is great for anything. And I hope a lot of dudes out there got an idea for a date night or even a date during the day...
