
On April 16, 2024 I went to the salon to get hair extensions by Krystal (owner). It was my first time getting them done so I was really excited and even more excited because they were going to be done by Krystal (she is known for signature layers). After a few days I noticed that the Itips were not placed properly on my head. They were zigzagged instead of being in rows. I also noticed that the Itips were poking out on the top of the base instead of laying on the base, which caused it to poke my scalp. Keep in mind that I've never had extensions done before so I wasn't sure if things were going to feel better after a few days. I started to do research and I found out that Krystal had installed them incorrectly. Today I went to the salon to see what they could do about it. Instead of Krystal (owner) owning what see had done, she decided to make up excuses on why they look like that (keep in mind that I only had them in my hair 2 1/2 weeks). She tried scolding me on why I didn't come in sooner (remember it was my first time and I thought maybe they were going to adjust or something). She then said that I was lucky that I was able to even see her today (I shouldn't have even been there in the first place for her mistake). For her being an owner I feel that she treated me horribly with customer service and the way she was talking to me. Nothing was done about my $500.00 incorrect service. Read moreThis is by far one of the worst salons I have ever been too!!! Don't be fooled by their social media accounts it's all false advertising and misrepresentation. I had my hair done by Tiffany and she ruined my hair. She knows it to bc she blocked me from social media. I spoke with the owner who is Krystal and she insisted it was a minor issue that can be fixed with toner. This was no minor issue and needed more blending and correct placement for lighting the hair. A horrible job was done and I was back n fourth with the salon for a week for a refund. David who is a horrible at management sent me a refund to a paypal account without even confirming if that was ok. I called to let them know I do not even use that account. He blocks me from their phone bc I was getting "loud" with him. It has been a horrible nightmare and I have ugly hair for the holidays. Not one apology from anyone for what i had went through. They are all covering each others back instead of taking accountability for one of heir stylist mistakes. They are notorious for blocking customers as I see in other reviews. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Uptown Whittier has a great salon that gets busy during the holidays so plan accordingly when scheduling. Read moreI will say coming to Zarios their customer service was very excellent. Both of my hairstylists were Maria and Crystalina and did a wonderful job on my hair. However, I will say coming here is a little pricey, the first time I came was on March 2, 2024, and I got a 2-inch straight hair cut off my hair which came out to be 75 dollars and did come with a free blowout. I will say my hair is pretty long and they charged it as a "mid-back length" which I felt was fair. However, the second time I came was October 1, 2024, and this time they charged my hair "Low back/ waist length hair" which was 120 just the haircut, and again went with a free blowout. I also got a hair treatment called "Mega Hair Treatment" which added 65 dollars and the total came out to 185 and also charged a card fee of $1.95. which they did not mention to me. I felt as if my hair was the same length as the first time I went to Zarios and I wasn't sure as to why they charged it so much the second time. I will say the first time was a straight cut and the second time was layers but almost the same amount was cut off. So not sure as to why they charged my hair more the second time.
