Horrible customer service. The cashier (1986502) was rude, didn't bag our purchases and shoved the water across the counter at me in an attempt to get us out of the line quicker. She overcharged us $80 for two sleeping bags. My husband had to insist that they were $40 dollars less than what she rung up. The floor staff was helping under a sense of obligation but I give the guy credit for at least pretending to value his job. When a customer makes a purchase it is natural to have questions about quality of product and price etcetera. It was obvious that this was an inconvenience to the floor staff. Like most people I am on a budget and I like to know what things cost before I take it to the register. Most of the camping items we looked at were not marked and we had no idea how much it cost. Needless to say, we will be driving further out for better customer service I would never recommend this store to friends or family. I would like to rate it -5 if possible. Customer service SUCKS ! at the time I got in the store there were 2 associates sitting down by the entrance, they didn't say hi, they didn't ask me if need help, they didn't try to help while I was looking around; took me 15 minutes to find what i was looking for. When I was ready to pay for the items, another female associate joined the first 2 in their stupid chatting ignoring people in line. Another Big 5 location, same experience over the years. Employees look like they have a boring job. After few minutes searching for a basketball 🏀, I noticed the merchandise is always the same. Old equipment, old merchandise, and of course, same high prices. Unless, if you a big fan of this store chain, you can follow with the same stuff. I see why Walmart is taking places down. I just to go to Big 5 Sporting Goods was a good experience, buying a good quality equipment, and once again, you was able to choose different variation of merchandise. I would rate this place with only two 🌟, I was expecting something more to see than outdated merchandise....
