True REST Float Spa - Wexford — Attraction in Pine Township

I am absolutely in love with everything about True Rest in Wexford. The staff there is wonderful. After just a month, they know me by name and ask questions about my family, work, and life. They genuinely care and they are all amazing individuals! The entire facility is spotless. You truly feel like you are in a spa environment. The ambiance is perfect for relaxation. The individual rooms are nice. Each room has a private shower and it's own float tub. I prefer to do full sensory deprivation (no sound, no light) and enjoy a deep relaxation. It did take me a few sessions to adjust to the process and to relax. If the pod ever feels too confining, I simply turn on the light in my pod or lift the cover a bit. I am working through a history of trauma and I have a very stressful job. I'm also a mother of three which means my brain never shuts off! I became a member over two years ago after my very first float. I float at LEAST once a week. This is 60 minutes out of my day that's just for me with no interruptions. It calms my nervous system and helps me to UNplug and recharge. The sensory deprative environment allows for complete relaxation. I do some deep breathing to start and usually end up falling asleep. I float in complete darkness but do use ambient music. You can listen to music through your own device or use the preset options through the pod speakers. While the pod is meant to provide a temperature equal to normal body temperature, I do like mine a little warmed because I tend to get chilled. The staff is absolutely AMAZING and does everything they can to make each float as perfect as possible. It takes some time to develop a float routine that works for you, so I recommend giving yourself a good month to explore. I have no regrets in becoming a True Reat float member and have no intentions of stopping any time soon. ...

I requested silence after waves to begin. The waves stopped and it was quiet and I was very relaxed. Thought this may be something I want to invest in. Then I heard what sounded like water running/ humming? I lay there thinking it would stop soon and I would go back to the dark quiet I had been enjoying (sensory deprivation!)? Well it went on and my anticipation of when will it stop made me anything but relaxed. I got out and showered. I noticed it had then stopped but by then I was frustrated and done. I wasn’t about to jump back in and finish my float. When I shared this information they seem very unconcerned. Bad business practice! I guess giving an unfavorable review gets you banned.
