While the food at all Panera 's is very good, the service here is so bad that I have to leave a poor review. It's awful, consistent and unnecessary. I eat here also daily; as I said the food is great. However, everyday they do the same non sense and leaving me waiting an extra 5 minutes EVERY day. They finish my order, then sit it behind the counter, 3 to 4 steps from the pick up station. EVERY day this happens. Now, maybe is it needed something I could understand. However, it never does and just sits there. Even though the manager (usually) or employees that sits it there sees I'm standing next to the station waiting for an order. So it sits and sits. No one at this behind the counter station checking of something needs added to it, just sitting there as employee after employee passes my bag and often many others to head to the back. So eventually, EVERY day I eventually go grab someones attention and ask to hand it to me. The look in the bag, add nothing and send me know my way. How can this happen EVERY day. How can the person setting it behind the counter take it the 3 steps to pickup station before heading to waste time out of sight of consumers. This store is awful. Unfortunately, I'll have to continue to go back because the food is good and the only thing in the area. I will continue to lose 5 min of my work day EVERY day because somehow the have a broken system that no one fixes, likely because the manager is moseying around twiddling his thumbs...
Read moreThis is my local Panera. I've come here a number of times since arriving. I've had an interesting experience. In the beginning, it was great. During the height of COVID, it was awful. Now? Well, they're trying. I know everyone is having difficulty in terms of the food service industry. About 6 months ago, this Panera couldn't make a $1 cup of ramen noodles if it tried. The flatbreads were soupy, orders would get screwed up, I would wait 20 minutes in line. But in my last 3 trips or so, the effort has been top notch. For example, an employee messed up my mobile order. When I explained, it was remedied right away, and the culinary director came over to apologize & offered me a free cookie. I can really see that they're trying to make everything work smoothly, so I officially like this place again.
Also, the employee named Brandon is probably the nicest, most helpful, and most efficient employee I've met in any restaurant, not just at any Panera. He's always so friendly and positive. Even when I swore off coming to this Panera, I figured that if Brandon was working, it was worth it, because he'd get my order right and have a smile. Thanks Brandon. I'm moving, so I won't be coming to this Panera anymore, but I wish...
Read moreThe food is as good as any other Panera. The accuracy in your order isn't always good though. I ordered for deliver - which they charge $3 for - after waiting well past my 11:54 delivery time, til 12:20, I called and they said "it should be there any minute". at 12:40 I called again, because my food was still not here, (I work 3 miles from this particular store) they couldn't give me an answer, put me on hold to call the driver. My food arrived at 12:50, an HOUR after it was supposed to, I placed my order at 11:24. THEN my food gets here, and one sandwich a coworker ordered was pathetic, very little meat, hard avocado, and an orange tomato, and my sandwich wasn't even included. $25 order for that? plus a delivery fee? plus a tip for the driver? ridiculous. If they are going to charge what they charge maybe it's my fault that I expect better service than McDonalds when I spend $30 on a meal. The manager did apologize, and they are sending me coupons. but I'm still hungry. lol Get it...
