Hello Bistro — Restaurant in Pine Township

I really want to love this place, but they make it so hard. The first thing that you notice when you walk in is that it always feels dirty. The glass is especially gross. When you walk into similar places, it always feels clean, modern, etc. This place feels like a cafeteria. The second thing you notice is that the staff is miserable. They offer no help, no guidance, and just are not friendly. The options/toppings available are great, but you pay $2 for protein and get a crazy small amount. Also wish they could chop them smaller. They offer "small bites" but the method used just does not work. This is not like your typical chopped salad. When ordering online, 50/50 chance you actually get everything asked for in your salad. Even in their own creations, something is almost always missing. Burgers and fries are soggy/greasy. Wish there were other side options for kids - girl looked at me like I was crazy for even asking. Would prefer better homemade soup options. The ENP soups are fine for ENP. But in a place like this, they should have their own, better daily options. I generally love Hello Bistro salads - love having all the options for toppings. However, my salad was ruined once again because way too much dressing was put on it. I ordered online and love that there is the option for the amount of dressing but it appears to me that those preparing the orders are not paying attention. Too much dressing is a fatal error while not enough dressing can be rectified; so, those preparing should err on the side of something that can be fixed. I realize that I can order the dressing on the side but I really would rather not waste additional plastic containers. Also, there is a space for special instruction/comments but it has such small capacity (16 char) that it is a waste and makes me think that special instructions are really not wanted. Finally, I would love to order spinach but hate kale; why is the spinach mixed with kale???? I really like this place. Cant beat the price and the amount of food you get. Recently, i ordered online for my boss and myself. we submitted the order at 11:07 and shortly after I went to pick it up. I did not receive my food until almost 12. Which did not leave me much time to eat considering we had a patient at 12. Also the order was completely wrong and i did not notice until i got back to the office. While standing in line waiting, I saw an employee who was panicked about the lunch rush. She was incredibly rude to her coworkers and the manager on duty. We watched as she franticly made salads, but none of them were ours because she claimed she had already made them and that the orders were ready. This was not the case. We stood there for 40 minutes waiting for our food as those who came in to order received their food before we did.
