Sitting here tight now typing this up as I wait over half an hour for them to process returning my cable boxes. This store and this entire company are an entire joke. The guys who set up my gear just scans my cable boxes and plugged them in, but for some reason they cant do that upon return and it takes hours of them typing in God knows what when youd think they could just scan the same bar codes to inventory the return. They've called names out of order multiple times, including the 2 people they helped who arrived after me before seeing me. During this wait I complained about how I was on the phone for an hour trying to get my 400mbps router set up and not ten minutes later shes asking me what speed internet i want. Did you not hear me just tell you I'm expecting 400mbps?! Apparently returning cable boxes is so difficult the lady helping me needs assistance cause shes made me wait to call someone else over who was about to start working on the 9 person line but now cant. Good thing that 9 person line is dwindling as 3 people have given up and left without saying anything. Spectrums a joke they are a tech company that doesnt use tech to streamline the customer experience or make things easier for their employees. Their motto is clearly horde all the money for the boys on top and completely screw our employees and customers, unfortunately they own the market.
Peter branch is currently being investigated after saying very negative things to me, the customer, and the people on a recorded customer support line after refusing to help me unless I waited in a 10+ person line when all I wanted was for them to answer why they quoted me at 7p and hard sold me on that price and consistantly charge me 90. Customer support said they never had the ability to charge me at 70 and they need to see me and help me immediately in which mr branch said very negative things to me and the nice lady on the phone. I said I couldnt wait cause my dog was in my car. He said "I dont care about your dog, I'm here to do a job" i said so do your job, you're just walking around looking over your employees shoulders, and he said "no get in line" without asking the sweet lady on the phone submitted the recorded phone call and now peter branch, along with the entire mcmullen creek location, will be investigated. Hope it was worth it mr branch, being a tough guy is all fun and games until your ego costs...
Read moreStaff were rude. Spoke very short and matter of factly towards me. I was in because I had been trying for 3 weeks to get a new modem to my father's house to upgrade his service. I was told I was made an authorized user and they weren't sure what the problem was but I could pick one up. I go into the location and get told I'm not authorized. I explain I am and when the authorization was given. I get told, well there are no notes for it so you are going to have to call customer service. I was then asked to go have a seat while I sort it out myself. I say no... I'm going to stand here and call them bc I've already waited 3 weeks... the lady at the desk rolled her eyes at me. Finally I reach someone on the phone who again, tells me I'm not authorized as there is no notation of it I explain, if I'm not authorized, how was the whole change of service originally allowed. They had no answer. So I leave, after receiving unhelpful service over the phone and condescending service AT BEST in store. Frustrated and angry I have an epiphany... all of your calls are recorded I call customer service back and in 5 minutes of talking with a lovely woman Taylor, she verified the conversation and apologized emphatically for the hassle. She openly admitted the original error was on their part. So understand this... I was ready to pull my father and I's services over the debacle that location calls customer service. Taylor in billing saved us. I am in the customer service field and NEVER EVER would I tell a customer who has been having a problem for THREE WEEKS that they needed to go sit down and call customer service to solve it themselves... that is APALLING customer service. As such, I will NEVER set foot in the McMullen Creek Market location again. I will tell my friends and family to NEVER go there and instead, direct them to South Blvd, who's staff were absolutely BRILLIANT... also shared this review to Facebook and my over 4k Twitter...
Read moreHi,
I wanted to share my great experience the Pineville spectrum location. I was with Mint Mobil who was horrible and gave me the worse experience and I wanted to switch over to spectrum. I worked with Shelby at the store and she was amazing. We were able to get a bundle with internet and Mobil phone which was great offer and price.
We had an issue with Mint Mobil not wanting to unlock my phone for transfer and being difficult and at times trying to stop the transfer and sell me on an offer or offer me money and when I said no they would hang up on us, which happened twice and promising things that would never happen like someone calling us back or a ticket being generated to unlock my phone with them that was fully paid off. Mint Mobil was horrible and why I went to Spectrum and Shelby worked with me and my wife the whole time. She called and talked to Mint mobile multiple times to try to resolve the issue only to have them hangup on her.
She was eventually able get me set up on a new phone, keeping my same number. This location is great and the staff there provide a great atmosphere and are very knowledgeable. They tried many ways to resolve my issue with my last carrier and were successful in the end. Shelby spent over two hours working with me and my wife to resolve the issue. It was no fault of spectrum but Mint Mobil and they had to “Clean up in aisle 4” for them.
Shebly was patience and gave possible options and explained what was happening the whole time and what the process was going to look like if we did certain options. She has great customer service and never once showed the frustration that I believe we all were having with the other carrier sabotaging the transfer. She was so nice and pleasant to work with and a great representation of Spectrum.
Would recommend my family and friends to always go to Spectrum first and specifically to this Pineville...
