Quick Wok — Restaurant in Pineville

I visited on 5/3/25 and was impressed by the great customer service from the lady at the front—she was very kind and welcoming, which I really appreciated. I ordered the Mongolian Chicken lunch special, which came with fried rice and an egg roll.

Unfortunately, the Mongolian Chicken just wasn’t for me. I wasn’t a fan of the flavor or the texture of the chicken, and I didn’t care for the large onions. The fried rice was okay, but the real highlight of the meal was the egg roll—it was delicious and definitely the best part of my order.

The lady up front was also nice enough to give me an extra white sauce without charging, even though it normally costs about 50–75 cents. I know the white sauce looked a little off—I thought the same thing at first—but it actually wasn’t bad tasting at all. It added a nice extra flavor to the meal.

DON'T ORDER FROM HERE!!! "Quick" Wok needs to slow down and put more quality into their cuisine. I ordered the fried chicken (which was ok... Just ok, hence the one star), the shrimp fried rice and crab Rangoon. The rice was definitely under cooked and the veggies in the rice was under cooked, as well. I only at the chicken. My sis ordered the shrimp lo mein took one bite and couldn't finish the rest. That's when I realized it's not just a bad night on rice, it's a bad restaurant in general... I wish I was done... The crab Ragoons. Smh... The crab Ragoons were so gross and pasty I didn't know what was worst, the taste or consistency. I don't understand. Smh. I give this place a "T" for try again... Better yet an "N" for nevermind and...

I would definitely not recommend this place. I spent almost $60 for a meal for my family and the food was borderline inedible. The sesame chicken was very tough and hard to chew and was flavorless, the lo mein was disgusting and slimy and super overcooked and also flavorless, the crab rangoons were filled with this weird, sweet , gelatinous substance that contained zero crab, the eggrolls were burnt and filled with mushy and sour concoction of who knows what.
