Absolutely the worse experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Decided to come here tonight and I 100% regret our decisions. So where to start? The customer service here declined by the minute with this place. We were almost sat at a dirty table in the beginning. After being sat at a recently cleaned table we weren’t seen by a waitress for atleast 15 minutes. We were able to order our drinks but didn’t get them for longer than 30 minutes as we watched them sit at the bar getting watered down. My friend ordered the steak and she couldn’t even cut into it. When we questioned about the steak entree they asked us if we wanted it remade and we told them no as they proceeded to force another one on us because as they said “it was already being made.” I order the chicken entree with 2 little pieces of chicken with 5 asparagus, after waiting forever for the food I was told that they flatten the chicken that’s why it doesn’t look big. After they remade my meal and the second time it came out over cooked. My other friend ordered a burger and the burger had a grey hair in the burger sandwiches between the 2 slices of cheese. As the burger was aggressively removed from our table nothing was done about it for another 30 minutes until my friend mentioned it. As we were talking about the hair the bar tender yelled “WAS IT A GREY HAIR?” Then proceed to grab our waitress. All the tables around us were disgusting. Next time we will definitely I want to try something for the first time it won’t be here. I’ll just go to chili’s.

My shrimp, lobster, and crab cakes were all overcooked to the point of being tough and dry, and that was on a $30 dollar entrée. Second dish was just Asparagus and a plain baked potato. The Asparagus and potato were undercooked with the Asparagus almost to the point of being raw. Third dish was a kids Joey steak that was tough. I realize it's a kids meal but Outback does call themselves a "steakhouse" so AFAIC every cut of meat should be tender and properly cooked. I did have a bowl of potato soup that was very good though and the mushroom appetizer was also good. Overall it affirmed how I've always felt about Outback. Very overpriced and the food ain't all that. Our server was very slow. If it hadn't been so busy I'd have sent my Barrier Reef plate back. However when the place is busy who really wants to wait even longer for a replacement plate? Which probably would've been the same way. Save your money. There's way better options out there.

And when they served us our food it was cold… so we were like…. Erm.. you said we’re waiting because you have a line, we didn’t know that we’re waiting for our food to make it cold. And they messed up here… again…. One of my friend, she’s allergic to mushrooms and she mentioned that, so we had to wait 30 minutes to get her meal redone. And my dish was obviously cold, but tasted normal, anyway long story short, I’m throwing up in my bathroom now. So I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place

After making reservations earlier that day, we arrived on time but still waited 45-minutes. With 5 of us, the large wooden booth was fine - 6 would be tight so ask for a table. Although our waiter spoke and acted the roll of a higher establishment's waiter, he botched the service by not bring out the orders correctly - he became confused with who ordered what and none of the potatoes were correct (talk the talk, walk the walk my pet peeve). **Our problem wasn't the waiter or service - it was the quality of meat - all 5 steaks ordered were a lower quality meat that a supermarket wouldn't be able to give away. Some restaurants source vastly higher quality meat than you would guess, from specialist independent suppliers, and can probably identify its last meal and parental lineage if you ask nicely. Most will be somewhere in the middle; bought in bulk but of a reasonable quality. It doesn't necessarily matter if their meat comes from the same place as their bleach. Sometimes it will be much fresher than the refrigerated/frozen stuff you buy, sometimes it will be butchered in-house from a whole animal and properly matured for much longer than you would buy commercially. Many will mention their food sourcing on the menu or other marketing. But there are always some unscrupulous restaurants with kitchen staff or owners who don't care, who store meat badly and will serve anything they can conceal or disguise in a recipe. Those Kitchen Nightmare programmes are exaggerated, but it does happen. The only reliable thing you can say is that most restaurant meat is usually cooked with more skill, on better equipment at higher temperatures, seasoned properly, and rested before serving. But some people are excellent home cooks too. Remember that a restaurant price mark-up is generally about 400% on food (much higher on beverages). For a meal priced at $160 before tip, I simply expect better quality meat - I won't be back! My advice,...
