My in-laws are Steeler and Pirates fans so we brought them to Yinzers for their first time to look/shop around while we were in town. Everything was great until the owner's dog or employee's dog (I'm not sure who the person was exactly) aggresively growled at and bit my 3 year old son. Now, I will say the bite was minor. You could faintly see the teeth scrape marks on his thigh. He wasn't doing anything to antagonize the dog. I'm not even sure he knew it was there. He and my daughter were looking at stuff on the wall as we were checking out and we heard an aggressive growl and the dog lunged at my son. The person behind the counter actually said the dog doesn't like kids or lunges at kids or something of that nature. I was in shock when it happened that I really didn't know how to respond. They gave my son a free mini bat and my daughter a pair of sunglasses because of the incident but if you're dog doesn't like children, maybe don't let the dog roam the store without a leash or muzzle.. idk, just a suggestion. I'm never one to leave a negative view of a business but this incident was a...
Read moreMy brother (Mike) and I came all the way from Chico, Ca and have been Steeler fans since we were kids. We were recommended to this place and they didn't disappoint. I happen to lose all the Steeler gear/swag I ever owned in my life (43yrs worth) from the 2018 "Camp Fire". It's been a huge bucket list item for us to go to a home Pittsburgh Steelers game. Dana, Jimmy and staff at Yinzers made us feel like family. But it wasn't just us...... they were beyond helpful to all. Can't thank them enough for all the help they gave so that we could be geared up for the big game. We even made it on TV with what we got from them!!!!!!! Thanks for everything Dana, Jimmy and team for making our...
Read moreYou can't go to Pittsburgh without seeing black and yellow everywhere. That also means Steelers, Pirates and Penguins gear. On our stroll of the "strip" we saw a great shop for all Pittsburgh sports gear. We also were curious about what a Yinzer even was. This store had everything you could imagine if you are cheering for the home teams. I was also surprised at how great the prices were. In Toronto, the markup would have been much higher for Leafs, Raptors etc. This is a definite place to go for all your Pittsburgh sports gear. The staff was very friendly and continued the vibe of our first visit to the city. Welcoming and...
