I have taken two introduction classes through PCA for adults. The facility is very nice, clean, and has easy parking. It is right beside the scenic Mellon Park. I have had a very good experience overall and have learned a lot. The PCA is a fantastic resource here for novice or more experienced artists.

The classes differ depending on the teacher and that can be a good or bad thing. One class was much more structured and one was not. I learned a lot and enjoyed both of them very much, but I wish there was a bit more information of the content and class expectations...

I’ve been a member of the ceramics studio for about a year now - great community and more than a fair rate for studio membership ($100/month max). Lots of different glazes and firing types available, which has really enabled me to expand my work. I’m also taking a drawing class this term, which so far has been great. Seasonal markets are also a really positive experience from both a buying and...

Pittsburgh Center for the Arts is amazing! I was looking for a place for my 6 year old to take art classes that exposed her to different art mediums and this is the place!! She just finished her first camp and enjoyed every moment!! The staff is knowledgeable and helped create a fun atmosphere while teaching. We live about 45 minutes east and the classes are worth the...

Want here to try the pizza from the Vitalia. We had the pepperoni which was pretty good the margarita was pretty good and the Bianca was the best. The only problem was they were all really flimsy. Actually dropped from the tomatoes that were on my Bianca on my white shorts LOL. Try to crisp the crust up a little better before you give it to us would make it that much better

This is a gorgeous space and the way they put the show together was stunning- very well appointed. The only reason they get 4 instead of 5 stars was: I wanted to buy a piece, a piece without a red dot, and after growing attached to the idea I was told the pierce was sold. Sad, oh sadness. I did greet the artists info, but still. Wah-wah. Coffee pot by Scott Cornish.

I took an enameling class with Lindsay Huff at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. The class had approximately 8 adult students for a three hour class for 4 weeks. We had a great time and learned several styles of enameling. My piece below could still use a polishing etc. I included a couple of pics of the steps. It was interesting and fun seeing what everone made.
