Taylor Farm Park — Attraction in Plain Township

Honestly, weekdays feel like my weekends as a Canadian nurse 🩺, so I love exploring local parks and trails nearby 🇺🇸. This one—Taylor Farm Park in New Albany—was recommended by my work bestie M.B 🫶🏽 (thanks to her!).

It’s about a 35-minute drive for me, and I went to get some fresh air (but ended up more tired than refreshed lol). The park has such a beautiful view, and we even spotted a few deer 🦌, which made the visit extra special.

The trails are great for running or just walking, but I wouldn’t recommend going when it’s 80° and sunny like today—it’s a real workout! There’s also plenty of space for families, including a nice playground for kids.

This would be a 5 star but the lake isn’t clean and the ducks don’t have open water. I loved coming here when I could actually SEE the water. The lake just looks like a field of greens. This is a large beautiful park. The playground has many different climbing obstacle courses to physically challenge your children. There’s also a flat paved walking trail to get your steps in.
