The female drive-thru rep was unnecessarily abrasive. We were excited the drive-thru was finally open and placed a mobile thru order for easy pickup after school.
After figuring out and re-loading the app numerous times, I placed the order and waited for the ready notification. Once it was received, I proceeded through the mobile thru for pick up. I gave the gentleman my last name for the order. He couldn’t locate it so, he asked for help. The female approached the window and asked for my name again, I gave it to her.
She returned to the window and asked for the confirmation, which I showed her. She said I’d have to wait five more minutes; then, I redirected her to the push notification advising it was ready.
After hemming and hawing, she said I must have ordered at the wrong location because they didn’t have an order for my name. I showed her my order notification for the third time confirming the address, items and amount paid. After her clear unwillingness to resolve the confusion, I began verbally listing the items included in the order and suggested they check for outstanding orders with those items.
Eureka! She found it and began exclaiming to her colleagues it was under the beginning letters of my last name…. The app truncated my name.
As in any instance, there may be errors or miscommunication. My problem is with the manner in which the issue was (mis) handled and her clear lack of interest in resolving the issue.
Huge components of customer service consist of interactions with the customer (making them feel valued) and the ability to resolve any issues. ZUPA failed in both of...
Read moreI'll be honest I had high expectations, and I was left a bit unimpressed. The creme brulee cheesecake is what saved this from getting even a lower rating. That was absolutely delicious. When I read "Ultimate Grilled Cheese," I was expecting it to be way bigger and stacked. I could easily fit the whole sandwich in just the palm of my hand. I wish I had taken a picture to show you how small this sandwich was. It's soooooo small. The flavors were great. It just had me disappointed on it's size, especially at the price they charge. The lobster bisque was delicious, but Zoup still does better. What really left a bad taste in my mouth was that one of the staff members who could not put a smile on his face and had no manners. He was the opposite of pleasant... yet it asks for you to leave a tip at checkout? What am I tipping if you're not coming out to clean tables or offer to refill drinks or take your trays when you're finished. Everything was self-serve except when you're ordering. So, what am I tipping for? There were at least four tables that were dirty. Say it was the lunch rush? I've been in management positions and in the service industry... there's no excuse for I wouldn't have called that a lunch rush. It's no wonder the place was basically empty. A couple people trickling in and out. I wish...
Read moreHonestly was super excited about this location opening up, but sadly was completely let down. We came the week after it opened to let a bit of the rush die down. There were only a couple people there ahead of us, which should have been a good enough warning given it had just opened, but we went ahead and ordered anyhow. This place stinks. It smells like the cafeteria in a hospital, and not in a good/sterile way. It smells like the food you would serve to someone in a hospital on their death bed. Unappealing, bland, and almost devoid of flavor. On top of this, it took nearly 25 minutes to get food from the drive through, and we didn't have a big order. (2 Sandwiches and a Couple Bowls) I would say the most egregious thing is what they are calling "Mac and Cheese". It's not Mac and Cheese at all. It's literally Elbow Noodles swimming in a watery cheese soup.
Just my opinion, but I would give this one a pass. Let the line prove how good it is, this place has been a ghost town for what you would expect a new...
