Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Columbus

If you are looking for a great sandwich, elevated from the normal boring chicken salad sandwich, you should head here. I love that everyone can find something that matches their favorite flavor. Like fruity - check, savory - check, spicy - check. If you don't like onions...you are in good company as there is only one that has onions since they aren't a fan either! You want something a little more exclusive...try their monthly or seasonal speciality chicken salad (it makes me sad though when I like it...and then it's gone!). At first, I admit some of these flavors scared me because I thought how do you mess with an original, but one day I felt daring and I tried the BBQ and I was like...um, yum and then I kept going. Not a fan of chicken salad, but someone has dragged you there anyway (eh, hmmm...my picky kiddo)...you are in luck! There are other options such as soups, salads, egg salad, pimento, their AWESOME broccoli salad and what my picky kiddo has crowned..."AHHH-mazing macaroni and cheese". And she always gets a watermelon tea to drink! In a hurry...no worries...they have a quick grab section so you can be on your merry way! Also how can you go wrong when they throw in a cute iced Cheryl's cookie for your dessert! Oh and for something more...if yiu have a sweet tooth...the rice krispie chocolate thingy is yummo. My only complaint - I wish there was one closer...

I like their chicken salads, so decided to try this location and both times was a bit upset at the service. First time, I went to pick up my order and there were 3 workers by the registers and 1 greeted me as she was stocking the small fridge with the chicken salads. I told her I had a pick up order and she proceeded to answer the phone. Another older lady working there, was just walking about and finally asked what I needed in an upset tone. Told her I had a pick up order, was bagged and walked out in less than 2 min. Second time I wanted to order, I had to call since I wanted to ask if I could do a pickup order since the o line ordering was not working, definitely needs some updates. Lady that answered seemed annoyed that I even asked if I could do a pick up order and handed her phone to the manager. Guy was equally as upset that I was even calling, told me I could only order with him if it was 2 items or less. I decided to just not order anything. I was never rude, so just experiencing this was a bit upsetting, and there are more reviews on the workers...

I thought this looked good and would try it out. Went in and got in line, and then a register opened up so I went to the open register where somebody had been taking orders. Stood there for a while, and then the other register opened up, and the other people who were behind me came up to the register and their order was taken. I continued to stand there and wait, and was acknowledged and asked if I had my order taken yet, which I said I had not yet. I continued to stand there and not have my order taken, while others ordered and completed their orders. After continuing to stand there, I decided to leave and go elsewhere as others continued to have their order taken as I was standing there. As I was leaving, the lady who acknowledged me was very kind and said she could take my order now, but I said I had been waiting and other orders continued to be taken. I’m sure their food is very good (it looks very good), and hopefully this is an uncommon occurrence of passing over people who were already in line and waiting. I hope to try again at some point...
