Hackberry Park — Attraction in Plano

This park is very nice with trees and paved walking trails circling a small playground and a center field on which games of baseball, soccer, and cricket are held. The playground is renovated a few years ago. It lost some of the adventurous equipment but the equipment is newer and geared towards younger kids. My kids still talked about the fun on the old ones. The housing development next to it took away the little garden and volleyball court which didn't seem to get used much. It may belong to the old church that is gone too. The basketball court is always busy. Nice picnic area by the pavilion often draw crowds for parties. Nothing fancy here. Just a nice neighborhood park.

It's a small park with paved boundary. It's got a small kids playground at one corner. People stroll alone or with their dogs. You are sometimes greeted with an occasional smile from strangers which might make you happy. I jog there sometimes and wish people good morning with a smile. And yes a small fact the paved boundary is around 550 meters. So if you are on Target to achieve certain distance, hopefully this small...

I uses to live in this area when I was a kid, around 2007-2008 (before we came back to India). I have lot of memories with this park. I still remember I used to come to this park every evening to play, ride my scooter.... Always feel nostalgic whenever I search this place, roam around in 360 degrees street view.
