I really wanted to give Sushi Town a 5 stars but that wouldn't be right. I also don't want to give them a lower rating either since they are providing sushi at such an affordable price; but you know what they say... you get what you paid for. This is definitely the case. I ordered Louisiana Roll, Crunch Spicy Tuna Roll and Stuffed Jalapeno for dinner.
The experience was very mediocre. The stuffed jalapeno is decent but it's full of mayo and cheese. The jalapeno itself was thin and barely has any flavor, making me question whether it is even fresh jalapeno or they made this days in advance. The same thing for the rolls too. Extremely disappointed as they had such a weird mushy texture and unrecognizable taste. If you are drunk or high, yes, maybe these are acceptable but there's no way in hell I could recommend my friend eating these sober. The tuna was mushy and feels like a ball of raw grounded beef. The crawfish was tiny and again, did not have any crawfish flavor at all. Only decent thing is the rice and the portion. Even the wasabi looks like a ball of green play-doh.
I understand we probably can't ask for more from this price point, however, we all deserve better. The sushi is really not good. Sushi Town should consider raising the price a little bit but raise the quality...
Read moreThis stinks! Now I am going to have to find a new sushi place. It would seem that there is only one owner there now (and he is the only person working). Went there for lunch to find: They now serve on foam plates, with cheap foam cups. He filled the cups with a cooler of ice he had on the counter, and then you had to pour your own water/tea. You had to pre-pay, get your own menu, napkins and chopsticks from the front counter. After the meal you clean your own table. He was outspoken about how he didn't care anymore and "whatever happens happens". I'm not a total snob, but I don't want that attitude from a sushi place, and except service and experience better than McDonalds when eating sushi. I'm afraid the end is near for this place unless he turns it around quickly. I...
Read moreIf I could only eat at one place for the rest of my life, it would be Sushi Town. Every visit is an experience — the sushi is always fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. The rolls strike the perfect balance between creativity and tradition, and every bite feels like it was made with care.
The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, making it just as great for a quick lunch as it is for a special night out. The staff are attentive, friendly, and make you feel like family from the moment you walk in.
I’ve had sushi all over, but nothing compares to Sushi Town. It’s more than just a meal — it’s comfort, consistency, and pure happiness on a plate. Truly a place I could...
