Originally I booked room VIP999 through Sam for a party for my brother. I was told it would be $150/hr (we were doing two hours), and was given a nice deal that if we bought a bottle from the bar then they would knock off an hour of the room price. Sweet! The place is absolutely beautiful. The room was very spacious and the sound was amazing! After looking at the room, I asked if we could come to the general area in the front with the big stage after our time slot was up in the room. Sam responded with “yes this area is for everybody”. He even got on the stage to briefly show me how to work the touch pad controlling the music. I thought this would be a great idea for the ones who want to keep the party going past the reservation time. So before we left, we confirmed the ages and was told anyone over the age of 10 would be welcome as long as the kids are accompanied by an adult. Which was another win considering people would be coming from trick or treating that night. Keep all of this information in mind, it will come into play later. A couple of days before the party we upgraded to room VIP888 for $200/hr. I asked about the bottle deal that was mentioned earlier and was immediately cut off saying there are no deals for VIP888. I thought it was rude how he cut me off without me finishing my sentence. I said okay and agreed to the no bottle deal. The night of my reservation I arrived and checked in, and there was an immediate backtracking on the age limit. I was told everyone had to be 21 or over. I contested that Sam told me the age limit was 10 and up and once he confirmed he waved us in. I thought was weird almost like they’re making up rules as they go or maybe just for certain people. I had a costume party and within minutes of half of the party getting settled in, all of the employees barged in to take a picture of us which I thought was really sweet. They even came to take a picture with us as well. (I wondered if it were for some kind of gain but either way I liked it). Rushing to set up, I asked if there is someone who can teach me how to play the music we wanted. I was told “later” by a woman on the staff even though my time was already counting down. We sat for about 20 minutes into our reservation listening to Korean music blasting while trying to figure out how to play music that isn’t Kpop. The English music selection itself was terrible. Even for YouTube. Apparently there are songs on YouTube that aren’t available, which is a lot. You would be better off asking them to hook your phone up to the speakers which means you won’t have the lyrics on the screen. After the music was finally figured out, my brother, my dad and I went to the bar to get some drinks and honestly some of the men workers looked annoyed that we were there or that they had to do their job. They weren’t interested in hiding their disdain either, it was uncomfortable. Towards the end of the two hour reservation, like mentioned earlier, I told my party we were moving to the general area in the front where the party could continue. Once out there, I asked Sam if I could just get on the stage now and play music and his exact response was “no, your time is up you need to go”. I was confused because he had already given me permission when the room was booked. I felt as if he was rushing us to leave which left me feeling unwanted after paying a lot of money and having people spend money on food and drinks. The way that he spoke to us was rude, so rude in fact that my brother had to tell Sam not to treat us that way. My party was respectful, we bought food and drinks and even cleaned up after. I just wanted to pay and leave at that point. The place is aesthetically pleasing however the staff, mainly the men, were absolutely horrible to my family, friends and I. The party itself was amazing but I would not come back to this establishment even if it were for free. The customer service definitely needs a lot of work. With that being said I would not recommend this place to anyone, except maybe if you are Korean you will probably get...
Read moreI highly recommend that anybody that come to this establishment. Make sure that you get a signed contract or a recording of what you’re entitled to do at this location. We were told one thing and it turned out to be totally the opposite. We reserved a VIP room and was told that once our reservation was over with for the VIP that we can mingle in the lobby amongst other people as well we were given a tour of the lobby where to go to and told us that we could be on stage and do what we needed to do, but that was not true. We was highly disappointed and then to be treated the way that we were paying good money at this location. I would never recommend this place again. I am not a mean type of person, but this is the truth that the man was very rude. His name starts with an S so he know who he is, and I wouldn’t do that to his mother the way that he did to me and my daughter we were lied to. I don’t know if they not use to Black people or what. I know that we spent good money at that location having a birthday celebration for my son. My family and friends came to the location and was in the lobby when the man that starts with an S was very rude and loud like we were criminals or something, but God does not like ugly. I’m normally not a type of person that will leave bad reviews on a company because normally I have my parties in my house, but this was a lot of people and we wanted to do something extra nice. I will never go to this location and I will never...
Read moreVery nice rooms, but the karaoke interface is difficult to use. A lot of songs even through the YouTube interface wouldn't show up or would fail to play when they got up in the queue. I think their software cares more about copyright and shows way less songs. And the touch screen is not good, the keyboard layout is also in alphabetical order instead of a normal keyboard. Sometimes would fail a search because the "network is too busy." I suggest the owner use the same software the other karaoke rooms in that area use. I would rate 3 stars but I really loved the rooms, probably won't come back unless the software gets changed. I have great hopes for the future of...
