This afternoon at 2:27pm I placed an online order at Popeyes restaurant #5534 located at 1917 W 15th St Plano, Tx 75075. I ordered a 3 piece spicy tenders combo with signature sauce and regular coke. I placed the order via app because there was a discount code applicable to this order. This is my second order via app and being that I ordered outside of the store to pick up via drive thru, I attempted to notified the employee that I did not order the correct sauce or drink. I simply wanted honey mustard in lieu of the signature sauce and a strawberry fanta in lieu of coke. I tried to change the order prior to the making of the meal to decrease confusion as it was an error on my end. Unfortunately, the manager on duty was hostile, rude and unprofessional. I tried to respectfully explain the situation and she began yelling stating that it was 35 cent for an extra sauce. I repeatedly stated I didn't want an extra sauce but a simple exchange. She intentionally acted incompetent as if she didn't understand what I was saying. I even attempted to ask in Spanish as I realized that was her native language and could be easier for her to understand. She ignored my attempt and began repeatedly stating that she was not changing anything and when its an online order she isn't obligated to change. Once again, I pleaded with her that it was simple human error. She began to get loud and belligerent and at this point Im frustrated and desired to speak to her boss. She once again played naive as if she didn’t understand my request but then tapped on the window to provide a point of contact. I requested a refunded and she declined the complete the task barking that I could call the number on the bag “if its that serious”! To add salt to a wound, my chicken was not hot, fresh nor spicy.

She asked me a question with two options, but I couldn’t make out what she was saying. Finally I understood the first choice she was saying was „frozen“. I told her, no frozen, just a regular lemonade. She asked the question again with two choices. „Frozen“ and something I couldn’t make out. I repeated that I wanted a regular iced lemonade. She got angry and said „ice is frozen! Ice is frozen!“. I said „no frozen please. Just lemonade.“ The lady was angry. So I repeated „Just regular lemonade“ she was starting to raise her voice to me, repeating her question with two options I couldn’t understand. I said „lemonade in a cup“ careful to avoid the word „ice“ as she thought that meant frozen. I pulled up and she went to hand me a frozen lemonade. I told her no thank you, and that I wanted just a regular lemonade. I didn’t know how else to word it. She was really angry, stormed off and got a regular iced lemonade. When she came back she yelled at me, shaking the drink „THIS IS CHILL!! THIS IS CHILL LEMONADE!! FROZEN OR CHILL!!“ I told her that I could t understand what she was saying on the speaker and that we don’t say „chill lemonade“ but rather just lemonade or iced lemonade“. That was a mistake as she yelled that ICE MEANS FROZEN!! Read moreI had the worst service ever at this Popeyes. I initially went through the drive-through and that guy was friendly and great. However, when I got back to my office to eat my lunch, I noticed the chicken was rubbery when I bit into it and when I looked at it, it was a little pink and not cooked thoroughly. So, I had eaten a few of the fries and half of the biscuit. I immediately stopped eating and said I would go back after work to tell them about it. I was treated horribly. They didn't want to replace the meal and the manager, Maria, said she would only replace the chicken tenders because I ate half of the fries and biscuit. I was in disbelief, after wasting my time and gas, not being able to eat my lunch due to undercooked poultry that could have made me sick and she wouldn't replace the entire meal. It gets even worse. She grabbed the chicken tender that I had bitten into and eaten half of and picked it apart to see if it was rubbery, I assume, without any gloves on. I went back into the restaurant and told Maria, I wanted fries, because I had fries in the box she tossed in the trash can. She literally went in the trash can to try and give me the fries that were in my original box that I returned. I came unglued. I told her, I dare her to try to give me fries from a box in the trash can. She proceeded to count the fries from the box and give me that exact amount in a small box.
