This has become one of our family's favorite places . Not only is it nearby , but on a good day , we can enjoy fishing . On a great day , your young daughter just might catch her first fish, which may turn out to be a catfish ! This park also features a wide path around the lake ; we've watched folks training for races . A safe playground is clearly visible from a large shelter . People come here from early in the morning as early as 5 to late in the evening. Very safe and a good place for families and children. Pets are okay but must be on a leash. Motor boats not allowed...
