I love this theater! The upgraded seats aRe awesome, especially if you find sitting in old seats a literal PAIN in the butt. I love that they offer Pepsi products as well. The big kid combo offers, popcorn, pop and full size treat. It's a great value for only five bucks!
My only reason for not giving a five star rating is my issue is with the folks getting your refreshments. These people are in NO HURRY!!! In my opinion, they feel you would be happy to stand in line for up to twenty minutes and miss the beginning of your show just to be served by them.
In addition, the last time I asked for "just a very small amount of butter," I later discovered the pond of grease that had flowed from my treat box onto a brand new pair of pants. Now, I did have a huge padding of their high grade napkins under my box however, it wasn't enough! I should have had it sitting on a lunch room tray or some other surface that popcorn butter could not penetrate. LOL
Despite the food snafu and service I have always found the theater to be clean, cool and...
Read moreSeveral of the seats were broken, which forced people to move around even though we had assigned seating. The theater itself was messyâpopcorn scattered all over the floorâand to make matters worse, the screen kept flickering and was so dark that a few of us actually got headaches. It was hard to follow what was even happening in the movie.
We understand that sometimes things go wrong, but this felt like one issue after another, and it completely took away from what should have been a fun, relaxing night with our family. When we brought it to the managers attention after leaving the movie, no one offered a refund or any kind of resolution, which made it feel like the situation wasnât taken seriously at all.
We just wanted to share our experience, especially as regular customers who enjoy coming here. Hopefully it can be addressed so other families donât go through...
Read moreWay better food/snack selection than the Altoona theater and not nearly as busy. However you don't get the luxury seats and space/room as you do at Cinemark theaters. But the seats are still comfortable and ticket prices are lower here. Main lobby was very clean and the theater aisles were freshly mopped. The close proximity of people around you is a little uncomfortable, especially when the lady in front of me had way too much and also the worst smelling perfume ever. Wish they would block out a seat in between parties when reserving seats, the social distancing aspect is not in effect at all here, yet the sign when walking into the theater "Encourages movie goers to wear masks", yet sitting complete strangers side by side didn't seem considered into that...
