See's Candies — Attraction in Pleasant Hill

I love See’s Candies, but hated this visit.

My husband, children and I went into the store on Frisday, April 18, 2025. And, the lady with the white hair was so snooty and rude. And, that’s a shame because we’ve always had a good experience there. Not only have we have always had a great experience there, but I’ve never had a problem with an employee. That employee was definitely not someone who has good customer service. And, I will most certainly ask for someone else if we should get her again. I’ll try getting her name and update my review. :)

Just an update on my review, I came home to find that she actually wasn’t listening to my request for the chocolates I asked her to put into my box and I was really disappointed to not find the ones I actually wanted in there. I’d highly recommend you as a customer ask to see the box before they seal it up. It’s not rude, but clearly...

Addictive. You can sample what you want and if you get a good candy lady (I've never seen a man work in any of the See's Shops), she'll let you try 3+ pieces. I can only come here for Christmas. Coming any other time of the year can be dangerous. Simply addictive. The chocolate melts in your mouth, and before you know it you've eaten three or four pieces.

Favorites include: white fudge (divinity?), pecan rolls, walnut rolls, butterscotch chews, and most of the pieces in the nuts and chews pre-packaged 1-pound box and more.

Stay away or you'll become an addict! Come here for special...

My experience here today was absolutely unacceptable. From the way I was treated, picking out different candies to the way customers around me acted was absolutely absurd. I was rushed and did not feel like I had enough time to pick what I wanted. The lady who, if you want to call it "help" that was helping me got tired of waiting and ended up filling my box with random chocolates. I deserve my own time. I will not be returning to this establishment. I've never been treated worse at any...
